Sounds like a good plan! [emoji106][emoji319]

I agree. Let's do our best to make sure this upcoming season slows down!
That storm came through on Thursday afternoon and tore up our town and knocked out our electricity for 24 hours. My parents, aunt, cousins and daughter's family as well lost power. We had nowhere to store our food and got as much as we could in our cooler. We all lost a lot of food. Frustrating but it can be replaced!!! We just had to make the best of it. Last report I heard that almost 200,000 people were without electricity, this morning still 80,000 people are still without. My parents had tree knocked down in our yard and so did my daughter's family. Trees and limbs are thrown all over town.
The funny part is, earlier that day I noticed a broke limb hanging down off our tree in the backyard. We are unable to reach it but since it's just hanging there I told Wayne that maybe that storm later in the day will knock it down. The storm caused lots of limbs to fall off our tree BUT that broke limb is still attached!!! Driving around town lots of tree were uprooted and some are laying on homeowner's roofs but that limb is still on my tree!!!
I have missed some time on here due to the electricity being out. I could have used my phone but I don't navigate the site too well on there and had to save battery power.
We are wanting to do something festive today, maybe go to the big Christmas store, shop for fall/Halloween goodies but not sure what yet. I guess I will report back and let you know what we do!
Have a Merry Day my Christmas Friends!!! :-x
Hi! Just got back from the mall with my sister. I dragged her to all my Christmas haunts lol!! Macy's has swags and lights up and were setting up other decorations. Sears had some trees up and lots of boxes out. My sister usually laughs at my Christmas love but was surprisingly excited!!!

Happy Saturday! Looks like most of you have a good start on enjoying the weekend.
The weather's dreary and chilly here, but it just makes a hot cup of tea that much more cozy! Maybe some popcorn or hot chocolate with movies this evening. It's Buster Keaton's birthday, and I think we'll watch something of his to commemorate the date. I owe him a lot because his movies helped me to get through chemo some years ago.
I'm burning a test DVD of this year's YuleTube. Fingers crossed. I usually have to tweak a few things and re-burn a couple times. It's the tedious part of doing it each year. But when that final, good master DVD is in our hot little hands, it's a great feeling! We usually wind up watching it several times during the season, enjoying the fruits of our hard work. Better go now and look in to see how the burn is going!
Happy weekend everyone! I am just getting home from brandi's classroom and I think I have it fixed up pretty well for the fall/harvest/Halloween theme. Now I am going to relax and watch/listen to football the rest of the day! GO Dawgs! Also the weather is beautiful right now...it's 62F with lows in the upper 40's at night and starting tomorrow the highs will be about 70 to 74 the next ten days and dry...I think that is a touch above normal but I won't complain...yet now if it's late October or early nov and it's 70's I may, but I will try not too! Brandi's school is having their fall festival next sat and that looks to be a lot of fun and we are signed up to do a few booths. I hope everyone has a great autumn weekend and I hope the weather is great for everyone!
Hope you guys have a great time! Say hi to your nieces for me [emoji258]

Good Morning MMC !
chilly morning here at only 6c (42f)
Getting stuff done around home today. Cleaned out that cupboard most everyone has, the one that has all the plastic storage containers and Tupperware. Got rid of all the lids but no container, containers but no lids, the chipped and stained. Found the "that's where it is !" stuff. Cleaned out the drawers too. Now I have a box full of recycling stuff.
want to get more work done on that competition cake
Have to plan what to make for next Saturday for the family thanksgiving dinner.
Now I have an excuse to sit for awhile, the kitchen floor was just washed and now I have to wait for it to dry !
Good Saturday afternoon, friends!

Quiet day on here. Kim and I recently returned home from doing some errands. We did some Christmas sightings and then picked up some groceries. I was able to take a few photos. I will post them to the Blossoms thread momentarily!
I hope everyone is have a great Saturday. We're actually heading to Kim's friend's house shortly for a barbecue. It should be a good time!
Enjoy the BBQ, Brent!!!!
