Christmas Countdown - 2014

Just wanted to share, we have a new addition! This is our kitty cat, Sophia ~

she is so cute!
We had to find another home for Meg, she was just to aggressive for our Penny and Aby. Both our cats are so relaxed again and back to their old selves again . Meg is very happy in her new home. (it is a neighbor so I have visiting rights! LOL)

Phew! What a long day! For the next 6 weeks every Sunday will be extra long days for me. We will be going to church extra early to take the grandchildren to practice for a performance they will do during a church service in November. Then I go to work afterward. I hope I have the energy for it but the kids are really excited and I will just have to make it work!

We could not get our TV working at work so I was unable to see the Cowboys game. Wayne texted me updates with the score, which was fine with my boss - he wanted to know the score too! I sure wish I could have seen the game! I was getting nervous with the tie and then into overtime. So happy they won!!!

We still don't have our air conditioner fixed and the temps are going back up to the 90's this week. I did hear from the repair guy and he should be here this week, hopefully tomorrow!

brrrrr, so cold here, I turned on the furnace today. My brother had frost on his car this morning.

Put aside the cake for the night. Competition is not till Nov 16, but there is still a lot of work to do on it.

Halloween Wars is on the food channel at 9, of course I am going to watch it!

But now I really need a big mug of hot chocolate and warm up!

Is it too late to wish y'all a happy Sunday? Just didn't get to check in in the morning as usual. We took out our window AC after breakfast, then I went around cleaning windows (we have the tilt-in kind, but I pooped out before I did them all), then I had to update the website for Mr.'s upcoming film show. Now I'm just sitting around in the quiet house getting caught up with posts and thinking about a nice warm cup of something afterward and relaxing this evening.

I wish we could take our window AC out! Enjoy the cool weather!

Good evening!
I spent hours working on that online training today and I didn't even make a dent in it. Oh well, I'll just have to keep chipping away at it when I have the time. I did sneak out of here this afternoon to go to Hallmark. There are so many new ornaments that I want but I was only able to get two today, I chose Nifty Fifties and Window Wonderland. I also spent some time with our new kitty Sophia. She is so incredibly sweet and very spoiled already. The girls can't get enough of her, they just love her. I hope Bella, Bentley, Molly & Maggie will love her too. Not too much else going on. My husband promised me he would have the kitchen backsplash done this weekend but he didn't even start it. He changed his mind about the tiles and wants to look for different ones. He's going to make me crazy, lol. He got some other things done though so I can't complain. Anyway, I hope everyone had a nice weekend. Enjoy the rest of the evening!

I tried to do a quick reply but could not. Then I clicked on quote, erased the quote to type my post. When I click on thanks, the screen image jumps around. I know I won't get caught up on posts, but weren't we able to go to the last post we had viewed? When I get onto the site, I either get the first page of this year's thread or I can click on "last page," or I can click on a page number. Of course I can't ever remember which page I last read. What am I doing wrong? Any help/advice will be appreciated!
