Good evening,
The meeting went well, but my anxiety levels were way too high, I hate going into large groups where I don't know many people.
I saw where a few of you were talking about Balsam Hill trees earlier today, I checked the mail and I had a brand spanking new Christmas tree catalog from them sitting in the mailbox. I do love their trees, some day I will get one.
We may have a long night ahead of us they have issued advisories for severe weather, not what I need for my anxiety tonight.
Special Weather Statement for Eastern Hampden, MA
Issued by The National Weather Service
Boston, MA
Tue, Oct 7, 2014, 6:37 PM EDT
... A FEW STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS POSSIBLE OVERNIGHT INTO EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING...
A CLUSTER OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE INTO WESTERN NEW ENGLAND AFTER MIDNIGHT. THE ACTIVITY WILL SPREAD EASTWARD THROUGH THE EARLY MORNING HOURS. THE PRIMARY TIME OF CONCERN IS BETWEEN 2 AND 10 AM... AND PARTICULARLY BETWEEN 4 AND 8 AM.
AT THE VERY LEAST... BRIEF HEAVY RAIN MAY RESULT IN SOME POOR DRAINAGE STREET FLOODING DURING THE WEDNESDAY MORNING RUSH HOUR... SO ALLOW EXTRA TIME TO REACH YOUR DESTINATION.
A FEW STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE ALSO POSSIBLE WITH LOCALIZED DAMAGING WIND GUSTS. THE HIGHEST RISK FOR SEVERE WEATHER IS ACROSS CONNECTICUT... RHODE ISLAND... AS WELL AS EASTERN MASSACHUSETTS... BUT CAN NOT BE RULED OUT ACROSS THE REST OF THE REGION. DOWNED BRANCHES AND PERHAPS SOME DOWNED POWERLINES ARE POSSIBLE AS TREES ARE STILL FULLY LEAVED. IN ADDITION... THERE IS A LOW PROBABILITY OF AN ISOLATED TORNADO.
PLEASE STAY TUNED TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE FOR ADDITIONAL STATEMENTS AND POSSIBLE WARNINGS EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING.
I work my evening shift tomorrow, and I should get home just in time for the puck drop on the Bruins 2014-15 season.
Just listening to some Arthur Fiedler & The Boston Pops Christmas music to calm my nerves before sleep.
Good night, everyone.
Goodnight, MMC!!!

Hey everyone
I hope you all are healthy and happy.
Once again real life kept me away from the forum, but I have a quiet moment right now.
About two weeks ago two little kkitten moved in with us. They are siblings, a girl and a boy. Both are healthy and very active.
See you around!

Good Morning, Fully Fete-Feeling Friendly Folks.
Started getting excited about our advancing count?
Well, let's just see how much more excited you will get about today's numbers:
Days to the Season: 37
Days to Christmas Day: 79
Moving along through the Home Stretch now, and getting mighty close to just ONE MONTH away from the begining of Christmas Season 2014!
Warmer yet and really quite comfortable yesterday with no rain in sight.
Pretty good for October in these parts, with just the begining of fall leaf colors.
This fine morning has started off at 64 degrees here in central NC.
OK. Pines Day!
Carl, with a sly smile (and you haven't lived until you've seen sly camel smile) told me that in light of it being Autumn, tonight's open house theme will be "Don't Fall for it."
Now let me tell you, I don't like the sound of that one bit. But like a moth to the flame, I must go to see what it's all about.
(How about you?)
Have a Wonderful Wednesday and a Practically Perfect 'Pines Day, Everyone!
