[Holiday]

Good Wednesday (Pinesday!) morning, my Christmas friends!

I did a bit of work on my business yesterday afternoon. I took Lulu with me, too. She loves to hang her head out of the window while we ride, and she gets lots of smiles and honks from passing cars. She's such a ham.

I'm really looking forward to our trip to the mountains in a couple weeks! It's been years since I've been in the fall.

Not up to much today besides working and my girls have soccer practice tonight. It is going to be 75 today...I am ready for some fall weather!

Yesterday I bought some peppermint mocha creamer...tasted so good in my coffee today.

I am getting ready to put on some Christmas music on Pandora.

Heading to work in a few minutes, just popping in to say hello.

We got a phone call around 5am from Thundercall warning us about a severe thunderstorm warning. It is always shocking to get a call that early, but I would rather be safe than sorry. I signed us up for Thundercall after the tornado a few years ago, since we don't have warning sirens here.

I will talk to you all tonight.

I think we ducked the severe storms that were forecast---the sky looks threatening, but the radar doesn't show any rain nearby. Looks like the storms are out in the ocean now. Cool, sunny weather to follow!

Ooh, my brain is mush this morning. Oh, I know why---haven't had any tea yet. I'd better get to it before something hits my desk.

Good Morning, MMC!!!!! It's going to be a beautiful day here with a high in the mid 60's. It's supposed to be the only day of the week that it doesn't rain so I'm going to try and enjoy some time outside. I also need to get some more stuff done around the apartment and may have to head out to my sister's house to do a few things for her. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let the games begin!! NHL hockey starts today!!! Big celebrations going on in Toronto as they get ready for tonight's game against Montreal. They were giving away tickets, but my van needs a new wheel bearing so I could not risk driving it that far or I would have tried for some.

It is a lovely sunny day here with lots of wind, so it is also a chilly day, 7c (44f)

Not working..well paid work that is. Have to do some running around and then want to get a cake baked for Saturdays family thanksgiving dinner.

I just sped through the post and really didn't get a chance to read much. Not much time to spend on here because I have to get some chores done before the house turns into an oven. Not fun without AC! The high temp will be around 90 today.

What did catch my eye speeding through the post was the BEAUTIFUL vintage wreath you posted, Snowflake! I was scrolling fast then stopped to admire it! Ha ha!

Since the Pirates got eliminated from the baseball playoffs early, I am now in full
Hockey fan mode!! GO PENS!!

Good morning my fellow Christmas fans!! Hope everyone is doing great today!!
Like I read some others here did this morning, I got up very early to see the lunar eclipse, (probably why I feel out of it right now, on my 3rd cup of coffee lol) Unfortunately, some scattered clouds obscured a good view of it till it was almost over they moved out and got to see at least part of it, was worth getting up extra early.

Well, yesterday I was craving Starbucks Christmas Blend coffee and today I am craving eggnog!! I am now on Eggnog watch! Can't wait till our local dairies start making it.


Another fairly nice autumn day here, might spend some time out in the garage sorting through and going through boxes of Christmas stuff that I have not had a chance to go through since I moved a few years ago, plus all the boxes of stuff my fiancée brought and has been packed away out there too! I am going to go Clark Griswold this year on decorating!

Anyway hope everyone has a great day full of the Christmas spirit and it is really great to be back active here again!

Good morning MMC! Happy Hump Day! Happy Pines Day! I haven't had a chance to catch up on all the posts yet, but I'm working on it! My boss had a scare on the Internet last night - thought he was locked out of his computer. Got a message about having to pay to get access back. Anyway, it's all ok, but I'm running scans on all the computers here this morning . Fun fun!!

More work at the house last night! Ceiling fan is up in the new room. YAY! Stayed up too late last night, but I told my friend I would walk this morning, so I peeled myself out of bed ~ and then I was glad I did! We got to see the eclipse! Pretty cool!!

Not much today. I am at Passport again but I am not here until at least next Tuesday after today. I have teaching at Russell tomorrow, Friday, and next Tuesday. Hooray!

As for tonight, I just have some gym and then i get to see the Los Angeles Kings raise their Stanley Cup banner! Very excited to see another championship banner at Staples Center!

Well, back to work. I am excited to get out of here and head to the Pines!
