I guess it's been close to a week now since I have posted to the site...Well, we moved, all went well, it took 5 moving vans, 15 guys and 2 days to get us all moved in to our new home.... We have been steady un-packing, organizing and arranging, re-arranging the furniture to get it into a location where it all makes sense and looks good.

I have also been working out in the field all week since Monday morning, so I have not been able to log in to the internet. I will only be able to log into the internet only from work, due to we do not have any internet access from home yet.

We placed an order for a hard line to be installed to the house (the previous home owner never had that done), the cable company will have to install it underground for 800 feet, to get it to the house. They said it will take up to 2 months for that to happen, at a cost of $3500.00+/- to us....
Oh well, what can we do?

Anyhow, all is well, the house is wonderful and we are getting settled in....I will continue to check in, every chance I can at the office.

Glad to hear all went well with the move!

The kids are out of school for Fair Day today. I am not sure if schools in other cities in the USA close for their State Fair. It has been like that here since I was in school. We get one day off during the State Fair of Texas every year in October. All the kids get a free ticket for admission into the fair. The problem is, when you go on Fair Day it is way too crowded! Most of the time we just end up doing something else and go to the Fair on another day.

I hope you all have a Merry Day!!!

Enjoy the cool down and the fair, whenever you guys do decide to go!

Friday afternoon. One more class. The long weekend is so close! Thankfully, I have one more class left to teach and I think it should be a fairly simple one. Many of the students were in my favourite class from last year, so I always look forward to seeing them.

It is a chilly fall day in Ottawa. We are around 10c/50f but the windchill has it feeling like 6c/43f. Brrrr! The forecast looks as if the wind should be blowing away throughout the evening and temperatures will be on the rise as of Sunday. It will be nice to have some warmth for the long weekend, but it is typical fall weather. No real complaints, here!

Tonight should be fairly busy. I am heading to the gym after work. Afterwards, Kim and I will be making our final preparations and making the hour drive to Cornwall. Hopefully we will see some nice colours along the way!

I should probably make my final preparations for my last class. I hope you all have had a great Friday thus far! Only a few more hours until the weekend has officially arrived. It's always special to have a long weekend, but it is obviously even more special when it is Thanksgiving weekend! Nothing beats delicious food and good company. Enjoy the rest of your Friday!
