The city is on lockdown again. Well, not all of Ottawa. Kim and I live about a 15 minute walk from Parliament. We're in a safe(ish) area, but everything close to Parliament is in lockdown. It has been a tough day for Canada's Capital. It is a shame that a young soldier lost his life. We can only hope for the best for his friends, family, and loved ones. As a country, we can only be proud to be Canadian and make our country even stronger.

Coincidentally, I was supposed to go to a concert tonight right beside the Rideau Centre - about a five-minute walk from Parliament. That concert has been canceled. I can only hope a date is rescheduled. I've been waiting for this show for about five months. One of my favourite bands was playing, and I have not seen them since 2008. Bad timing. It's a real shame that stuff like this happens.

With all these events, I can't help but wish for the feelings of peace and joy that Christmas brings. Regardless of the situation, Christmas always brings a smile to my face. If only the world had more of the wonderful people like yourselves.

With that said, we are only three weeks away from the day that we will partake in the final countdown to the Christmas Seasons. Right now, I can't wait to say those two magical words. I hope you all have a wonderful night and have enjoyed your 'Pines Day!

I was finally able to see the coverage on the news this evening. Keeping you all in my prayers.

Goodnight, dear friends~

Hello Christmas buddies! I am on a quick dinner break at work. The weather seems to be turning a corner, and the rest of the leaves in my backyard that were still on the sugar mables have some off with some windy gusts so I can already see myself and brandi raking, raking and more raking this weekend! I love Autumn and Spring yard work! The actual temps themselves are still mild and sunny during the day with temps today struggling to get out of the 50's and tonight we are suppose to have a low of around 42F, I think it gets up into the 70's this weekend and 30's and light frost at nights next week! I will take that at Halloween! I hope everyone has a great night and hope we all make it through the rest of this work week!!!! TTYL!

Wow I saw this on the News today! Stay safe friend!

Please pray for us here in Canada
our parliament has been attacked and three people have been shot. Parliament is on lock down as an armed person is loose. Up to 30 shots fired so far.
Our members of parliment are there and locked in offices, have not heard where our Prime Minister is right now.
2 block radius around parliament hill is locked down, armed police everywhere. So scary.

I heard about that on the radio on my way home. I send my condolences to the family of Corporal Cirillo. My thoughts are with everyone up there.

Good Evening, Buddy!!!!! I'm sitting here waiting on you!!!! I'll order your drink when it gets closer to time!!!

It's pretty calm here so far. Carl is just being his normal self behind the bar. No extra curricular activities going on from what I can see.

He was full of gas, watch him guzzle Coca Cola from earlier in the day. cheesy

Good evening,

Another long day, and early morning back there tomorrow. The good thing is I have this weekend off, my first weekend off in 2 months. We will most likely be heading to Yankee Candle Village for the day, I am looking forward to it.

Time for sleep.

Good night, everyone.

Merry Thursday! Hope everyone is well.

Busy day ahead. I'm just leaving for the school run and then to the hospital for Isaac's appointment.

Have a wonderful day everyone!

:hi:

Sounds like perfect Fall weather! It is unseasonably warm here too this weekend, rare but nice! Hopefully it stays that way for the kiddos on Halloween! Have a great rest of your week =]
