Good Monday morning MMC world~ Here we are at the start of another glorious work week. I just could not wait, all weekend long, for this Monday morning to arrive.......NOT!!!!!Lol~

No serious, Good Morning!

I had a nice weekend, Saturday, Vicki and I, went over to an old buddy of mine's house (haven't seen him since we last worked together 4 1/2 years ago). We were pretty tight, and I had ran into him at the Lowes store near me, had no idea in the world that he lived just a few miles from me. Well, I took Vicki along, because he has a couple of dwarf goats, and she just loves goats... Well, she had a blast, playing with them and I think they did as well with her. later that night, we went out to dinner with Lisa's parents and had a wonderful meal at this seafood restaurant.

Sunday, spent the day working outside and in the garage. I was able to get about 95% of all my Halloween decorations up and lit (first time in 2 years), felt good and I was really happy to break them out of the boxes and set them up!

I was up at em, really early this morning (2:30), so I came to the office, to get some stuff done and then that way, by noonish, I'm out of here for the rest of the day~

I sure hope that everyone has a wonderful morning!:-D

Good Morning, Friends.

Again.
Once again.
We begin another new week on the ever-shortening voyage back to our beloved Christmas Season.

Shortening?
I'll say so!
Just look at this:
Days to Halloween: 4 (Barely over HALF a week!)
Days to the Season: 17 (Now UNDER 2 1/2 Weeks!)
Days to Christmas Day: 59 (Down into the fifties!)

Time is slipping away, good neighbors!


A very pleasant late October Saturday was had here yesterday.
And the weather service says we could reach the mid-70's today and possibly the low 80's tomorrow!
We have started on that path at 44 degrees here in the capital city.

Good Morning all !!!!! Boy have I missed this place. I started manager training at work , so I've gone from 7 hours a day to 11-12 hours a day. My poor body is having a hard time getting adjusted So I haven't been on in a while.

I hope everyone is doing great. Just a couple of days till the real fun begins. Normally I would start my decorating on Saturday, but with this training I have to work all weekend. But I'm off all day on Wed, so I could start then:???:

One of the nice things about my promotion is a raise. Just in time for Christmas shopping Well off to try and catch up some. Have a great day !!!

We spent the whole day at the air show yesterday to see the Thunderbirds. We were outdoors from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm in the hot 90 degree sun. Isn't it almost November? Why all the heat? lol We coated on sunscreen all day but still got a little burned.

During the show the announcer was telling everyone how there are plenty of air show memorabilia to shop for while there and it's time to shop for Christmas!!! That got me a little giddy!

We have seen the Thunderbirds, Blue Angels and Canadian Snowbirds numerous times and yesterday for the first time I witnessed this but they had to land one of the Thunderbirds plane due to some technical issues midway through the show. I was a little nervous with the announcement because I was not sure how serious the problem was but happy to say they landed safely and the show continued on.

I hope everyone is well!

It was 90 degrees here too this weekend...Saturday and Sunday. Disgusting!
