I'm listening to Sgt. Pepper as I work. I love this album! It was my dad's favorite album of all time. It's making me think if him, but that's okay.

On a side note, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds always makes me feel like I'm on an acid trip or something.

To clarify: I've never been in an acid trip! The song is just kind of "trippy."

Forgot to mention this earlier but I baked Halloween cookies yesterday. I needed my son's honest opinion of them since I am unable to eat them due to food allergies. He ate one and said they tasted different from last time, not as good. Then he kept sampling them but couldn't quite figure out what was missing. 15 cookies later he still wasn't sure. Psst... I think he liked them!

I passed them out to the grandkids and other family members. No complaints yet.

He is "one smart cookie" HA!

I'm listening to Rubber Soul now, which is my personal favorite album of theirs. I like What Goes On. I like that Ringo would mix in a little country! He actually released a whole country solo album!

Well, come on down!!! :lol:

When I do my annual holiday baking you can come down and test all of it for me. Ryan, you too since you want to try them out!!! Heck, all of MMC come try it out!

My mom asked me why I would want to bake a bunch of stuff I can't eat but I told her I love baking for everyone! She had no problem with that response because she knows she gets some of the goodies! I do bake some gluten free stuff too but if I did it all gluten free it would be expensive!!!

That's funny - there is a lady in town here (my sisters friend) who bakes the best pies. Her & her hubby built a new house with a big kitchen with multiple ovens & she has a pie business out of her home. During Thanksgiving she can sell 50 pies in a day. She has a whole list of different types of pies - every one that I have had is delicious...and she can't eat them either. She just loves to bake pies. :smile:

Good morning, everyone!

Not much time this morning. I have my prep first. It is followed by four hours of teaching - with the exception of lunch, of course. I don't like prep first. I was hoping to be in Art all day again today, as she is away for a second day in a row. Unfortunately, I have a schedule of difficult classes. Well, they are easy in the sense of workload for the students, but the students can become aggravated and aggressive quite easily. I'll just have to be extra firm with everyone today, I guess.

With that said, wish me luck. It could be worse! I have had these classes already this year. They know how I work. Hopefully it goes well again on my end.

We just got back from a walk out. Weather is fitting and perfect for this time of year. My little one picked his costume out today, bumble bee transformer. Once we got home he won't wear though. Kids! Hopefully he will come around by Friday. My eldest is Darth Vader.

Last night we watched House On Haunted Hill (1959) http://youtu.be/dFtLw4lbgP8 along with Halloween episodes of Frasier, Big Bang and Melissa and Joey. Continuing the theme tonight. we are having so much fun and loving the seasonal festivities!!!! I am sure you all are too!

I pick out one cloudy cold day in December to do my baking. We don't get too many of those so I stock pile on the baking supplies and wait for that day. For some reason I am just not in the mood to bake for Christmas when the sun is shining and it's mild weather outside - doesn't feel festive. Anyway, I blast the Christmas music, wear my Santa hat, bake, sing loudly and dance around a bit - yes, I do dance and sing some while baking! Sorry, no Youtube videos available to see on that, just picture it in your head. :lol: It takes up an entire day to do all this and I love it! Then I am done baking like that again until the next holiday season! So I am kind of like the lady you mention, I love baking even if I can't eat the stuff!

Had an appointment with the lecturer earlier today to get some guidelines for my sustainable tourism essay. It was very helpful cause I had been feeling quite lost in terms of structure and things he expects to see in the essay. :]
He said he had once been to Lithuania as a guest speaker for one of the universities and it seemed he really liked the country. That's a heart warming thing to hear since not many people go there. :]

Good afternoon MMC! It took me all morning to get caught up! I love it!!!!! :smile:

If you remember about a month ago we went to Indianapolis for My brothers 60th birthday celebration. Well, today is REALLY his birthday. He is getting bombarded with texts from all of our talking pets. :lol: Poor guy! I have been cracking up all morning. Dogs & cats....all sending birthday messages. Too funny!
