Christmas Countdown - 2014

[Holiday]

Since I put the tree up in the office I am totally not getting anything constructive accomplished :lol: Instead of doing work, I am working on converting old vintage vinyl Christmas albums to mp3 format and being an audiophile (RadioJonD would understand) I am just never satisfied with the end result. Currently working on what I believe to be an old A&P supermarket holiday promotional LP into mp3, I have over 100 of these old vinyl Christmas LPs, just sounds so much better on vinyl.

I think I am going to start a photo album of all these old vinyl records.

That sounds like more fun than doing something constructinve!!! :lol:! Good luck!!!

Good morning MMC! Happy Friday Eve! Woo hoo!

As I mentioned earlier we bought new furniture last night, so I need to get the carpet cleaned in that room before tomorrow. I'm debating if I want to work through my lunch to get out early, or try to clean it on my lunch. I have a hair appt. after work, so I could probably work through, clean carpet, then go get hair done. Hmmmm! We'll see! I just have to share a pic of the chair we bought last night...I had to have it! Reminds me of a ripple/chevron afghan! :-D

And I forgot to mention...TONIGHT is the BIG night!!! The Battle of Ohio!!! I am already wearing my orange & brown.... hubby will be sporting orange & black!! Always an interesting night at our household! :lol: I hope I'm the happy one at the end of the night!

I am a diehard Steelers Fan, but in the battle of Ohio I will root for Cleveland! (can't believe I am saying this but go Browns!)

I did decide to work through lunch. I just ran to the carryout & picked up a salad - which is very good, by the way! ;-) Now I can leave at 2:30 - hang out with Gracie & clean the carpet before I go find my youth again!! We'll grab a little supper then off to meet our friends at the Legion for the big game ~ or at least for the 1st half! Poor Gracie will be home a lot today/tonight.

I made excellent progress clearing Halloween props out of the yard yesterday. And for every trip I made to the shed with Halloween stuff, I returned with armloads of Christmas stuff. It is all lined up behind the house, ready to put up at my leisure. Yay!
