Christmas Countdown - 2014

Monday

There's some talk of a few inches of snow Wednesday night ... I hope not. It would mess up Thanksgiving for SO many people. (We're okay, though, because Mr. and I just have Thanksgiving at home.)

It may be another crazy week at work, but at least it should be a short one. I hope we close early on Wednesday because I string the lights on our tree when I get home and set it up. Then I decorate it over the weekend. I may pop into the office over the weekend to decorate around my desk. I did that last year, and co-workers got a kick out of seeing the decorations when they came in the Monday after Thanksgiving.

Good Morning, MMC!!!! It's a warm morning here with a temp in the 50's. It's going to fall through out the day though until we hit the low 30's by tonight. I had planned on doing a lot of cleaning today but that is useless with my niece here. So I'm going to concentrate on getting my eggs boiled and my celery and onions all chopped up. Then I can throw my macaroni salad together quickly tomorrow. I also need to make mom get all of her stuff together for a orientation thing that she has to go to an the unemployment office tomorrow. First things first though. I've got to keep this girl from eating me out of house and home. She's had pop tarts, eggs, toast, and a banana yet she is still complaining she is hungry. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!

We had a long weekend with Elizabeth's production. It was a collaboration with the dances, actors and singers associated with Center for the Arts. I liked the Christmas theme of the show, but Elizabeth needed more stage time! LOL

We took her out to eat with the family after yesterday's show for her birthday. She wanted to go to one of those Japanese places that cooks in front of you, and I always like that. The kids are out of school this week, but I have to work till Wednesday.

Visited the baby doctor today...everything looks great for baby #2!

Great news coach!!!!

Tree is up! My mom came over and helped decorate it. We had a good time.

Here's the mantel...my wife is going to bring some chalk home from work Monday so we can write "Merry Christmas" on the chalkboard in the center.

And it all looks beautiful!!!! Welcome back to Patty!
