My turkey turned out great believe it or not! I am surprised...now for the stuffing to get done...Brandi has to watch that because I am about to leave to go to the airport! wish me luck on the highways yall! Have a great night everyone!

Ok Carl says he could not get the radio city rockettes so he has a camel version for us never thought that 20 camels could keep in sync like that !

It is amazing!!! I've never seen a camel stand on 2 legs like that either!!!!

Well! I got the lights and garland strung on the tree and set it up. I'll decorate it later this weekend. Couldn't believe that it took me nearly 3 hours to string lights on a 4-1/2-foot tree! But I took my time, and it turned out great. Mr. came in to see it, and we just sat on the sofa for a while looking at it. I'll try to get pictures later, when it's decorated. I'll try to get pictures of the piano, too.

That ceramic Santa with the open sack that I bought---I originally intended to take it to work to hold candy canes, but I just can't do it. He was a bit pricey, and I'm afraid of him getting chipped or broken there. I fell in love with him and want to keep him for good. So he'll stay here at home on my piano, and I'll put the candy canes at the office in a big Christmas mug. I'll get a picture of Santa later, too, once I think of something to put in his sack. I already have candy canes on the piano in an Irish crystal biscuit-barrel (cookie jar), and I like the way they look. Maybe I'll get some ribbon candy to put in Santa's sack.

Here's a pic of O'Malley admiring one of the music boxes I mentioned the other day. He loves watching the lights change colours and the music "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" reminds him of the tunes he must endure throughout the year.

I missed Rudolph Day - well almost - I was humming Have a Holly Jolly Christmas in the shower yesterday.

It's not my favourite animated movie, but I love it for sentimental Burl reasons.

Since we're talking TURKEY - did I ever tell you about the time my mom asked me to go and fetch the turkey from the back porch because there wasn't any room in the fridge so they were keeping it cold outside until it was time to thaw it and it was GONE.

:carve: We never found out if it was a person or a dog that stole it, but somehow we wound up with a turkey anyway - can't remember who rescued us that year.

I'll have to ask my parents if they remember - I'm guessing someone wound up cooking HAM and gave us their Turkey. Sometimes their memories aren't as good as mine, especially these days.
