I sure hope you don't have that Flu that is going around down here...They are saying now (CDC), that the Flu shot that everyone got, will not work against the current strain that is going around. They said it might decrease the intensity of it, but you can still get sick.....

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Nancy stayed with her mom last night, so it was a long night at home. But she reports that her mom feels pretty good this morning for a change, so we're all relieved.

I'm just looking forward to regular nights at home, with a real dinner instead of take-out. :grin:

Elizabeth is going to Savannah ice skating with her best friend's family. I bet she'll have fun! I don't think I'd risk an ankle trying that these days. :wink:

My Tuesday morning thoughts so far:

• Why did I forget to set the coffee pot timer last night?
• Why is the alarm clock going off at 4:45 AM???
• HAVING TO WAKE UP THIS EARLY TO GO TO WORK IN THE FIRST PLACE, I think I need to have my mind checked out....
• Ummm, it's a Tuesday, hardly no one is working today here at the office, why am I here?
• The coffee is not strong enough....
• They absolutely need to keep playing Christmas music on the radio, thru and into the new year!
• I need to win the PowerBall or mega Millions, so I can hang out with Jimmy Buffet at his place; (It's five o'clock somewhere's...)~
• Hmmmm, I think the wife keeps shrinking my pants, they're all of a sudden a little snug in the waist.
• I could go for another one of those macadamia Nut chocolate chip cookies, the wife made!!!!!
• Is it Friday yet?:thumbsup:

One more thing - Thank God for Kringle Radio, MMC and all of you!!!!

Good morning!
It finally cooled off a bit here, we are currently at 28 degrees. That's the coolest it's been so far, the temperatures have been so mild here lately. Not too much planned for today. I'm going to take a ride to the supermarket soon to pick up a few things. I also need to go to the outlets later, my daughter saw a pair of reading glasses yesterday in the Kate Spade store and she really wants them. I'm going to get them and surprise her. She's working at the outlets today, so I'll go visit her while I'm there and give them to her. Back home afterward to clean! My middle daughter is off so it's the perfect day to get her room in order.

Good Morning, MMC!!!!! It's going to be a sunny but cold day here in Central Indy. It sounds like we will top out around 33 then start dropping rapidly as that cold air from up around snowflake's area makes its way this way. We might see single digits but we shouldn't get as cold as she is though. Don't really know what is going to go on here today. I have a lot to do but may end up at my sister's. So we will see. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!

[Christmas-A-Holic]

I just packed away one box of decorations but have not packed away my Christmas spirit! It was just a table of various decorations I had set out. Not quite ready to take anything else down - baby steps! :wink: Even if most come down around the first week of January there are still some things that will stay until the end of January and of course I keep a few small items out year round.

Snow-in-Texas is still sick so he took today off. He needs some rest so bad!
