I heard about that yesterday myself! I agree with you.... he was a good man to do what he did...

I know this may sound harsh, (and just my opinion) but I believe that some people in this world of ours, should not be allowed to have pets or children, if you cannot love them, take care of them and nourish them, then you should not be allowed to have any~

I agree, 100%!!!!

In fact, I think this ignorant woman should be forced to be "educated" firsthand at how that felt for the poor dog, to be stifling, not have water, etc. in other words, same treatment.
I just hope & pray that her dog will be treated better & stay safe, from this point on. [emoji169]

Good morning everyone! I'm trying to catch up on the posts but it's quite challenging thing to do. ^^

I got my dissertation marked yesterday (much quicker than I had expected) and I must say that I am very disappointed in myself for making so many silly mistakes and being THIS close from high A grade. I hope to get an overall grade of the course in early June after exam board approves the results. Anyway, I've learned my mistakes and I am now determined to push myself next academic year through what I perceive to be my own limits. I really REALLY want to graduate with first class honours. It's like an obsession already. ^^

My friend is helping me with moving on Friday and I going home on Monday. I haven't been in Lithuania since last August, so I am quite looking forward to it now.

Okay, I have to complain for a minute. Moms doctor ordered all kinds of blood tests yesterday but forgot the main one that checks how her blood thinner is working. So we had to come back out to the lab to get it done this morning. We have been here 30 minutes now and they have not called a single person back. Instead the lady is just sitting here catching up with her old neighbors. In the meantime, the whole waiting room has filled up. I have a feeling it's going to be one of those days.

Good morning!
Happy Pine's Day!
I am sooo tired this morning. Did not sleep well at all. I was up coughing most of the night. Feeling a bit better overall though so that's a good thing. Thankfully there isn't too much going on today. I do have to run to the supermarket at some point, can't put it off any longer. Other than that I'll be working some chores around the house. My mother may take a ride over to for a visit later this afternoon too. That's about it for me.

problem with starting work at 9:30 is I do a bunch of stuff at home first so by the time I get through a day at work I am really wore out.
But I am so grateful for steady work that I enjoy doing.

Tried to catch up here but am resigned to the fact that it will never happen because I just have to much going on to sit in front of a computer for very long, but at least I know this place is always here with warm hugs ready to go when I am.

Happy Wednesday! I am feeling a bit tired today...my little stinker, Leo woke hubby at 1 to go outside and then would not come back inside so then I woke up and he finally came back in the house. It was one of those deals you would get close to him and he would run..lol..wanting to play! Then I could not fall back asleep for awhile. Coffee will be my friend today. Of course, Leo is sound asleep on the couch snoring!

What a cute little stinker Leo - hard to be mad at that face! I know all about that game of getting close to the pooch & they take off running! cheesy Hope you have a good day, enjoy the coffee & get some sleep tonight!

(That's the day after tomorrow, Guys!!)


More heat and humidity yesterday, but today is predicted to be nicer, with both reduced heat and lower humidity.
It has begun at 65 degrees and if the prediction holds, I'll get that lawn mowing done!

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

We went to the honors program for the middle grades at school yesterday to see Elizabeth get her Honor Roll trophy. I'm so proud of her! Jacob didn't make honor roll this year, but, amazingly, neither did anyone else...in the whole 11th grade! That was a tough year! Still, he passed AP Chemistry and AP US History, so he has earned college credit. Good for him (and my wallet!).
