Conan the Geriatric? cheesy
Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!
Happy Pines Day, too!
We were away from home till late last night. My cousin's kids are the same age as our kids, and they wanted to go see a movie together last night. Then they spent the night, and stayed up late laughing and rough-housing. So, I didn't get much sleep. *yawn*
Jacob's band recorded a couple songs that are playing on a local station this week. It's pretty cool to hear him on the radio, I have to say!
I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy
Good Morning, MMC!
Happy Pines Day!
Wishing you all a blessed day~
See you tonight! =]

Good morning everyone!
Happy Pine's Day!
Not too much going on here today. I'll be stuck in the house this morning, waiting for my daughters bedroom furniture to be delivered. I'll need to run to Target at some point to pick up a couple of sheet sets and a new blanket since we got her a bigger bed. I told her to look online for a new comforter set, I'd rather her do that than drive all over the place until she finds one that she likes. I also need to decide on a gift for my father, his birthday is next week. Other than that I'll be working on some chores around the house. I hope everyone is well and has a great day!
Good Morning, Everybody.
Again -- It's mid-week.
Again -- It's Pines Day.
Again -- We have new count numbers:
Days to the Season: 170
Days to Christmas Day: 212
And just look how close we are to SINGLE DIGITS to the 200-day Christmas Day Milestone island, lurking just 12 days off the bow of our good ship MMC.
(Why, we are practically in port!)
A bit of warmth and a bit of humidity was the weather tale yesterday.
No rain though, but that could change today, where we have begun things at 73 overcast degrees here in the capital city.
Well, Folks. Hard though it may be to believe, we have arrived at the FINAL Pines Day of May 2015. The month has slipped away.
Carl is aware of this, of course, and I'm sure he will work it into this evening's entertainment.
(Just how I don't know, but he will work it in somehow.)
Have a Wonderful Wednesday, Friends!
Happy Pines Day, MMC!!!!! It's going to be another hot and humid day here with a high of 83 this afternoon. I had planned to go to another job fair today but I'm not quite sure that leaving mom alone for 4 hours is a good idea at this point. So I'm not quite sure what I'm going to do. I guess I will give it a couple of hours and see how she is doing. I'll try to check back in later today. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!
Hope that they get a good, dry night soon! It rained up until 6 o'clock this morning! Everything is just saturated!
Rain is great, and makes everything look so beautiful, but sometimes you just need a break from it ;-)

For sure! We actually needed some rain, but it didn't fit into our plans this week! cheesy Looks like once the rain starts later this afternoon, it's supposed to rain the rest of the night. Ah well! It is what it is!

I will be bringing a hard hat, in case he decides on an early "June is busting out all over" theme ... Looking forward to the sweet tea!

Good morning, everyone!
Happy 'Pines Day! I had planned to visit Monday and yesterday, but it was all for not. On Monday, I was at a different school and busy helping students one-on-one. It was a nice change-up. Yesterday, I did not receive a call. My dad actually came up Monday afternoon. He's gone already! Quick visit.
We had an enjoyable time Monday night. His real reason for the visit was to check out a couple boats. Yesterday, we went to see a boat about an hour outside of Ottawa. It was in perfect condition and did not have many hours on it. It was a little smaller than my dad had wanted (23-foot as opposed to 25-foot). My dad loved the boat. We went for a ride and then he promptly purchased it. He did not want to pay for storage for a few days and seemed pretty excited to get everything going, so we stored it in a lot for the night and now he's already heading back to the Sault. I am certainly not jealous of the lengthily drive he will have with the boat. It's already 9 1/2 hours. With the boat, it will be about 11! Ouch.
It was good to see him again. I probably now won't see him until October or something. Ah well.
Oh! I have a somewhat funny story... While I was in Montreal this weekend for my friend's bachelor party, I was alone at the end. They had all left to catch their planes back to Toronto. I was the only one taking the train back home (to Ottawa). I had about three hours to kill. I searched and found a year-round Christmas store "Noel Eternal" in Old Montreal. This excited me a lot! It was only about a 20 minute walk. I made the trek and saw the building. I was so excited to see Christmas...
Then, I arrived and the front windows were papered and there was a sign that said it was closed and would re-open in June. Renovations. Such a let down. The only real good thing from this is that Kim will be in Montreal in late June. She said she'd visit and hopefully purchase me something. I was really looking forward to sharing some photos with everyone. Hopefully Kim will take a few for me next month.
Well, my next class is about to begin. It's another decent day of Drama and Phys. Ed. I like these classes! I hope you've all been having a fantastic week. We're right in the middle... Hopefully I can make it to the 'Pines tonight to celebrate our final gathering of May!
Did some baking this morning , these are apple roses

Maybe I will bring them to the pines tonight
Happy Wednesday All! Not too much planned today just working and my daughter has a softball game tonight. It is very warm here...around 80 and humid but I will take it for now.
I will check in later! :hello:
