`Well, I had a really terrific day today with my daughter. First, I survived the 90 minute road trip that we took today, for her first time driving on a highway. I took her Through Westminster here and then northwest into the next 2 towns; Taney-town and Emmittsburg. She did great!!!!!

Then we went shopping at the mall for a few hours, we laughed and talked and told each other stories while we shopped. Which of course, I just love, love, love to do - to go shopping that is! LOL!!!! Lisa always says that, it's not normal for a man to like shopping as much as I do, she says I have one too many of the other type of chromosomes????? (Oh stop~) LOL~
I love spending time with my kids like that~

How's everone this evening, anything good happening tonight????

Sounds like a great day! We are watching football and my 12 y/o is all into baking these days so she made some cupcakes and a cake. Not good for my weight loss quest! Lol oh well!

We are supposed to have freezing rain/ice not sure if my girls will have a delay or cancellation or maybe nothing!

I bought a Christmas Vanilla Cookie candle today for only $3. It smells so good....I am going to burn it tomorrow!

I forgot to tell y'all...Friday evening we ate at our local Chinese restaurant and they were still playing Christmas music! I'm not sure why but I enjoyed it.

Good morning gang ... Its a bright and sunny morning here but it sure is cold. We have to head outside later today to take down the outside Christmas Decorations. We may leave the snowman out there for a while longer. Spent the day at the mall yesterday with DH and the kids so the kids could use their gift cards they got for Christmas. This past year my daughter got hooked on The Nightmare Before Christmas and while we were walking around the mall she noticed several Nightmare before Christmas items in the windows of a store. DH and I will have a take a trip back there with out the kids and get a jump start on some Christmas Shopping for her I also noticed Hallmark has a 75% off mark down sign in their window. There is another Hallmark store that is a little out of the beaten path near work so I am going to stop by there on my lunch break tomorrow to see what kind of goodies I can get for next Christmas.

Good morning. It's quiet at the moment, Lisa is at work, Zach has drill this morning at the Guard and Vicki is still asleep upstairs. I'm just sitting here on the couch, sipping on my coffee in front of the fireplace and watching a great funny but yet (I think) classic western - "Support your local gunfighter" with James Garner, Jack Elam and Harry Morgan.

I got some thick sliced bacon defrosting at the moment, getting ready to put it in the pan, to have with eggs and cheese on biscuits.

Mmmmmmmm, bacon!!!!
