I am heading to the place I adore in a few. (sarcasm as thick as syrup) cheesy
I really don't want to go, the empty suits were visiting yesterday so I will here how that went.
The sun is up, and high of 70 expected, not too warm, but I am in a cooler all day so it doesn't mean that much to me. cheesy

Since I didn't get to grill the other night, I plan on grilling some shrimp and having yellow rice and black beans with some sliced tomatoes. I will thaw a Marie Callender's pie for dessert; probably key lime or lemon meringue.

That all sounds good, minus the shrimp! LOL! I'm not a fish or seafood fan! I'm sure you all will enjoy it though!!! Everything is better on the grill! :smile:

We didn't get as much rain as we wanted last night, but evening storms are a possibility all week. Fingers crossed!

I'm still struggling with the decision of using a hood cowl or a ram-air vent for the Camaro. Life is full of tough choices, eh?

A touch of rain in the early evening yesterday cooled things off a bit, but of course added to the humidity.
Should be cooler yet today with still more rain in the forecast.
We stand just above 65 degrees here at this hour.

Sure enough, one of our member's suggestion of a "June is Bustin' Out All Over" theme for tonight's open house caught
Carl's imagination, and also sure enough, pyrotechnics entered the conversation.
I suggest an "attend at your own risk" warning if you are venturing to our MMC resort of choice tonight!

Happy 'Pines Day, Crown! It's always tempting to show up, but at my own risk? Carl really has me contemplating this one. Hopefully we will be OK. Carl does have plenty of experience at putting on shows. And, I am sure that he is only practicing for his big July celebration that usually commemorates the 4th of July.

I'll do my best to make it tonight. It's always a shame to miss 'Pines Day, especially with it being the final one before we reach our 200-day milestone!

I'm back at Russell today, teaching Drama and Phys. Ed. As I said before, I like these classes. I think I have been in for this teacher at least once per week in the past two months!

The weather seems to have finally turned in Ottawa. There really isn't a cloud in the sky and temperatures are to reach about 23c (upper 70s). It should be around seasonal for the rest of the week, too. I like that.

Well, I have a double break coming up. I like these, but they can also be fairly long. I'll probably spend at least one of them helping out students in the library. They don't have much time left before the end of the year (two weeks of classes from today). Hopefully I can give them a hand.

Good evening,

An uneventful night, went to our favorite in town restaurant for takeout, just learned that they are now serving wings!!! That made my night, can't wait to try them next time.

With Xmastidings in Orlando, a few friends planning to go to Disney World later this year, it really has us looking into everything for our planned trip next April. We haven't been there since 2002, for our honeymoon, so this will be the boys first trip, and we want to make it as exciting and fun as possible for them.

My later day tomorrow, so I should be able to make a quick visit in the morning.
