Good morning!
Happy Monday!
My husband headed back to work this morning after being on vacation all of last week, so we're back to our regular routines here. Not too much going on for me today. The town will be repaving our streets this week so we just moved all five of our cars around the corner. The cars have to stay off of our road, and out of our driveway if we plan on using the car from 7:00-5:00 every day this week. I have to do some food shopping today but I guess I'll have to wait until this evening when I can pull in to my driveway. I'll probably run a couple of other errands though, other than that I'll be working on some chores around the house. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

Back from vacation and headed to work bright and early this Monday...although it's cloudy here like it has been for the last 4 days, so it's not really bright...

I'm tired--got used to sleeping a few hours later over the weekend! Nothing major going on here today besides work and just trying to get back into a routine.

[Holiday]

How was everyone's 4th?

We had a nice day. My job was closed but we went in to feed all the critters. Afterward, came home and had a cookout while watching Moonshot and Apollo 13. Then headed to Starbucks for Frappes and went to the Arboretum. I was surprised it wasn't too miserably hot to be outdoors, it was actually nice out! We came home to watch TV from Hallmark Christmas movies and other shows. At nightfall we stepped outside to watch everyone blow off fireworks even though it is against the law for them to do that but it sure was pretty!

Funny thing is, here it is 4th of July and we both really wanted to go to the year round Christmas store. Wait! That really isn't that funny, you all get it don't you? Ha ha! Well, they were closed for the 4th so we might head out there next weekend. We did observe the 4th but throwing in a little Christmas is good anytime of year! cheesy

LOL! Nothing wrong with that! I hope Maggie did well!

Fireworks here last night until well after midnight. Then we had baby cries at 2:00 and then at 4:30 until about 6:00.

I'm trying to talk myself into getting up, but I just don't know if I want to do that. LOL. It's beautiful here....81 degrees and a slight breeze. Think I'm gonna feel little girl lunch and go outside and play with her.

Baby is doing great. She is snoozing and so is her Momma...I've got taco soup cooking and we plan on watching either the race or the soccer match.

[Holiday]

I was going to take it as a vacation day ... so I just realized now it's a holiday, so I save one vacation day! Yes!

Back from time at the River--a GREAT time away! So happy to rest and spend time with family, especially my husband. It's great that it's Christmas in July and the next major holiday I celebrate is Labor Day. The year is just flying...

I hope you all were well while I was away! I LOVED watching QVC and can't wait for more Christmas in July to come. What a hoot.
