Every time Harlowe gets sick, and has symptoms like she had when they first diagnosed her with liver dysfunction / disease, I get scared and pray it's not flaring up.

Praying hard for Miss Gracie & you!!

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I changed my avatar yesterday afternoon. The new format made the old picture look funny, and when I saw this one I loved it!

Jim and I worked on the Camaro some more yesterday afternoon. I swear, I can just walk in his shop and I get greasy. But we tracked down a transmission leak, installed the new U-joints, and mounted & wired the new electric radiator fans. Gettin' it done!

What went through my head when I saw the picture:
"Goodness, is he going to drink that whole bowl of punch himself?!"
(Isn't that awful of me?)

I went home for lunch & it was so nice out I didn't want to be inside, so I went out to pull weeds! I put a glove on since we have some thistles that needed pulled too! Well little miss Gracie didn't think I needed to wear a glove. She would not let me alone, biting at the glove & pulling on it! I finally let her have it & she tore off through the yard with it & I pulled weeds with my bare hand! Little booger! We were outside my whole lunch & it went so fast I could have easily been late coming back, - I got in the house & only had 4 minutes left! I made it just in time. Whew! (not that it's a big deal...lol)
This beauty came to visit me: (and Gracie was chasing it...)

My 1st thought was Santa is drinking spiked watermelon!

Thanks for posting that ... Wow, I haven't seen one like that since I was a child! Around here I've only seen the little white ones.

A friend posted on Facebook over the weekend that she had seen one too (along with a picture) & so many people commented they hadn't seen one of those since they were a kid. Hmmm It was beautiful!
