Good afternoon, friends! I'm all caught up. Just trying to relax today, as last night was my "night off." I had to do overtime again yesterday, which ended up being more than I was expecting, it turned out that I ended up working a double shift. I was exhausted by the time I got home. I went with DH and the kids to party and then out to a dinner, came home and crashed.

As a result though, I ended up getting up at 3 this morning...I tell ya! Anyway, DS is home sick. He starts Pre-K on Wenesday and he has his last two days of preschool today and tomorrow, so I kept him home today. He had a fever and a terrible respiratory issue going on now. Hopefully he is a little better by tomorrow.

Thanks for all the prayers for Ella - she actually goes back this evening for her follow up and to get her stitches out. Thanks for the posts to me too! I'm hanging in there! You guys are all great!

Hope you're all having a great day! Thinking of you all! Prayers! God Bless!
Praying for DS! Hope he feels better soon.
Hope Ella's appointment goes well tonight <3

WOW! We must be twins, ha ha! I tend to have some really wild dreams and wonder why I dream what I dream. The fishing dream sounds nice, always good to hang out with those from MMC! I cannot even take the all natural melatonin you buy from the vitamin store. I have really weird dreams when I take it and I never take a full dose. I would only take a 1/4 of whatever is recommended and still affects me that way. I just quick taking it altogether and just deal with falling asleep naturally which is hard sometimes! Hope you get a better sleep tonight!
Thanks, every night is an new adventure in my mind sometimes they're so real and so much fun and even the usual cloak and dagger stuff is intriguing, but when I can't be a super hero in my own dream, I blame it on muscle fatigue or gravol. HeeHee.

Oh no! I hope your DS gets better quick! Poor guy! He has a big day coming up!!
I hope Ella's apt goes well tonight!! xx

Those are some wild dreams! Hope you still managed a decent rest after you were able to fall back asleep.

I was awakened by a dying battery in a smoke detector Saturday night/Sunday morning. It was a rude awakening, and it took me a bit to get back to sleep too.
I had a rude awakening to a fire alarm at a hotel two years ago, I was supposed to stay one more night, but I was on the 12th floor so I opted out and headed home early. Turned out to be a faulty smoke alarm from the rear of the kitchen area. Everyone made it out safe and as soon as I heard the voice over the speaker say, "don't be alarmed, stay in your rooms and await further instructions", I started packing. It was 4 a.m. and I never went to sleep until 1:00 a.m. when I finally got home. I took everything outside with me just in case we couldn't go back inside.

My favorite dreams are my travel dreams and Christmas ones! Most of my travel dreams take place on a train through the Colorado Mountains. Out of all the vacations I have been on that one was my very favorite. If I can't go back again there for real I guess I will settle for dreaming about it! The Christmas dreams are always fun too!

Here's hoping for no more muscle fatigue and to have more super hero dreams! ;)

That must've been a long day...

Good Morning my Christmas Friends!

Today is my granddaughter's birthday. Guess what she got for her birthday? She gets to go back to school! Yes, her first day back is on her birthday. She doesn't seem to mind though!

The grandkids will now be coming over my house after school until their parents pick them up. Time to get my house organized while I have a little free time early in the day! I think I will also drag the rest of my Autumn decor out - I'm ready! (Even though it will be close to 100 degrees all week long!)
Sure wish my grandkids lived closer; sounds so awesome.

Good heavens, what a night! I hope your sleep is more peaceful tonight.

The mention of RJD and the RC made me smile. Mr. loves it, but it isn't sold around here. Once in a great while we arrange with RJD to send him a 12-pack, and reimburse him for his trouble.
That's hilarious, I don't drink soda pop, but I was thirsty in my dream so I grabbed one. I love my merry dreams as if I could reel in a carp, I would struggle with a minnow I'm sure.

Thank you!
Actually, I have today off, then back to work tomorrow. Mr. Is booked to help me out at the office for the next two weeks---we're expecting long hours and work into the evenings. So this week is a four-day week for me, but it will probably be more than a full week hours-wise!
Say, what? You finally managed to get a day off. Woot! Woot!

It was indeed, plus I had a presentation I had to do in the afternoon and the ongoing smoke alarm gave me a migraine so it was a bit challenging trying to be "up" when I wanted to soak my head in a vat of warm oatmeal (not sure what that would've accomplished). I got it done. Staying at a different hotel when I got back in early December.

That must've been tough, migraines are the worst.
Sounds like a good idea...just to be safe.
