And after that, well, Christmas comes!

Well, it still feels like summer, lol! And 99% humidity here, some on over!

LOL! Yep, it sure feels like summer here too! Mornings are cool but afternoons it's convertible time!!

Afternoon!
Well it's probably morning for most of you. Walked to the shops after dropping my son to nursery. Lots more leaves are turning and falling. I stayed out longer than I wanted but got distracted looking at all the Halloween stuff

Just got back in and almost time to go pick the boys up. Whew I'll take a coffee break when I get back and catch up here!

Oh almost forgot , bought a little pumpkin. Will post a pic later.

Nothing look shocking to you?
Well, perhaps you haven't considered this -- that we are down to just 2 days to the THREE-FOURTHS Milestone marker to Christmas Day.
(Don't know about you, but I find the speed with which this year has passed to be little short of shocking!)


Right comfortable here yesterday, with enough cloud cover to mute the sun and hold down the temps without any rain actually falling. Easy on the eyes without the glare!
This morning has begun at 67 degrees with clear conditions.


OK. Visit the 'Pines at your own risk this evening.
Today is the first day of Autumn and Carl recognizes it. A "harmless little game" is planned called "Don't Fall For It". (I believe the title contains its own warning!)
Regardless, whatever entertainment is to be presented you can rest assured of frantic fun and fantastic frivolity.
I'll take the chance and plan to attend. How about you?

Good morning everyone!
I'm just relaxing and having a pumpkin spice coffee on this first day of Autumn. Not too much planned for today. I'm going to take a ride to JoAnn's later. Rosie knocked one of my witch figurines off of the table last night and broke it. Not sure if I'll find another one at the store but it's worth looking. I have cat toys all over the place but they are fascinated with my Fall decorations. They're pulling leaves off of the garland on my staircase and they like to take ornaments off of my little Halloween tree and play with them. I can only imagine what they're going to do with the Christmas decor. Anyway, I have a couple of other errands to run while I'm out. Back home afterward to work on some chores around the house. That's about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

Good Morning! Interesting and eventful morning that is for me. Coming into the office this morning, I got into a three car accident. One of those chain reaction types, some moron in a silver SUV, was driving like a nut in a SUV and when he changed lanes, (without a single light) the traffic stopped so he had to slam on his brakes. The guy in front of me slammed on his brakes; locked them up, I slammed on my brakes; locked them up, swerved and missed him. The lady behind me slammed on her brakes; locked them up, swerved and missed me. The elderly lady behind her, driving a Hyundai Elantra, must not of have been paying attention and she slammed into the woman behind me; full force at like 45-50 mph, pushed her sideways and forward into my left rear and then the elderly lady hit my right rear. She was shaken up real bad, she got out of her car limping, her car is in awful shape, had to get it towed, she apparently just bought it last Thursday and has liability insurance on it only. The Acura MDX behind me was pretty bad, 4 years old and it had to be towed. My damage to my Toyota Sienna, is to the rear, broken light, bumper, rear door, rear quarter panels; but drive-able.

Well, I'm not upset with anyone involved in the accident, it wasn't intentional, that why they call them accidents!!! However, I would like to put my foot up the rear bumper of the idiot that was driving the silver SUV, who caused all of this mess....

Good morning MMC! Happy 1st Day of Fall! Happy Hump Day! Happy Pines Day! Wow there's going to be a party at the pines tonight!!!
Not much going on around here today! It's another gorgeous sunshiny day!! We started out at 50º & going to hit 82º this afternoon! B/C of this, I still don't have my Fall decorations out. After a drive in the convertible, I just don't feel "fall" yet- I'd rather be out cruising around! Ha ha! Maybe at lunch I'll get some more out b/f it gets so warm!
I made a batch of fresh salsa last night using this tomato that grew on my patio. This one tomato was almost enough all by itself to make a double batch...but I did add 1 extra tomato...

It weighed in at 1lb 15 1/3 oz. LOL! The salsa is delish. Nice kick!!

Have an awesome 1st day off Fall everyone!!!!

I think that's one of the largest tomatoes I've ever seen! I made a batch of bruschetta yesterday, for Bruschetta chicken tonight. So yummy!

Oh my! So sorry to hear this xmas!! The SUV probably drove on & didn't even realize what had happened - or didn't care? I'm glad you are ok & nobody was seriously injured!! I hope the rest of your day is MUCH better!!
