Yes, moving can be a pain.
I'm just glad that we're not moving across the country this time! And in between Christmas & New Year's. Now that was a nightmare.
It's fun to look for us, on our schedule. And wonderful to be able to be our agent this time around.

It's the classic case of location, location, location for me.
The area I most desire is charming, quaint, and a bit out of our price range. There's a few properties that we've looked at there, but they're at the top of our budget, but require some real work. It's hard to do that much at the top of our budget-but they are lovely.
Then there's the beautiful new modern ones, but in a location that is less than desirable to me.
Adrian doesn't really care what part of town we're in, his Dad was a military man & they moved around his whole childhood. He can adapt anywhere.
That's what makes this all an adventure!

I know now that we would have regretted things if we chose the other one even though it was bigger and recently renovated.

This morning, I was thinking about how close Halloween is and it made me realise how fast the autumn season is flying by
I promised myself to start enjoying these next couple of weeks a bit more. I need to start watching more seasonal films starting from tonight!

That's exciting, I'll have to take a ride with my husband this weekend and see what our Home Depot has out. My hubby promised me a new tree this year
Oh and I'm really shy when it comes to taking pictures as well. Maybe if there isn't anyone around, but that's not usually the case.

It's a little scary that next week is our anniversary (first one!), then Halloween is the NEXT week, and then it's pretty well full blown holidays with US Thanksgiving, birthdays in my family, and Christmas. Making it a point to bake something pumpkiny this weekend! IT'S FRIDAY!!!!! Enjoy your day!

Happy Fall Friday! I have work, and then a lovely date night with my husband! We'll be enjoying a date at home, since we both have to run in the morning-4 miles for me and 12 for him (he's marathon training, while I'm just training for the 8K). Looking forward to when training is over so we don't have to do so much structure on our weekends and can get our Friday nights back!!
I agree with all the folks who say time is flying. I'm making a concerted effort today to enjoy the day, to look at the leaves, and to light my fall candle! Let's enjoy the season prep today!!

Those are underrated candy bars...they get overshadowed by snickers, milky way, reeses etc.
