[Christmas-A-Holic]

We just took our oldest grandson to a Star Wars event and a members only lunch at the air museum at Love Field Airport where it took place. Our grandson dressed up as a Stormtrooper, hubby and I wore Star Wars t-shirts and my dad just came in his best dressed regular clothes! =) It was fun seeing everyone dressed up as their favorite Star Wars character.

The menu was: Jabba Pizza, Pretzel Light Sabers, Death Star cake balls, Wookie Cookies, Yoda Soda, Darth Vader Ade, Luke Skywater and more! We had fun!

I hope you all have a wonderful and safe Halloween!!!

Mr. reports that the local supermarket is showing very little Halloween today ... they're switching over to Christmas displays!
Must run along and get things done before dark. Then I need to be on doorbell duty.

It's 5:14 and night has fallen so I imagine we should get our first trick or treaters soon. Pumpkins have been carved and lit! I am so glad the weather cleared up and is unusually mild. It's perfect because the kids won't need coats. My eldest is dressed up as Darth Vader and my youngest as Batman. We will go out trick or treating in about an hour.

I am just loving today so much as I am sure the rest of you are too!

I was Batman one year back in the day...had the cape...the mask...it was cool. I am loving today too...as I said earlier I'm calling Halloween the most underrated day of the year.

I went to the local mall HMG...it was amazing how many kids (and adults) were dressed up walking through the mall. It was very cool to see. I actually picked up a couple of pizzas for tonight...and as i was carrying them I was thinking if anyone asks my costume I could say I'm a pizza delivery man.
