I hope your day is beautiful too HMG!!! Have a wonderful Sunday! Happy decorating!

I hope you all have a good Sunday, MMC.
My day started off a little weird with a call from my mom, telling me that my grandfather passed away earlier this morning. We may head over there a little later. He had been ill for quite some time and reached the admirable age of 91, so it feels like a conclusion rather than a sad end of a life. But it's strange, still.
Sending (((hugs))) thoughts & prayers!! I'm so sorry for your loss!

Sounds perfect! <3
Give her a hug for me.
xx

Will do ♥

Good Morning, HmG~
Happy Sunday!
Hope you have a beautiful day!
(((Hugs)))

Thank you!

Good Morning, MMC~
Merry Sunday!!!!
Adrian & I had a fun day yesterday. We took Harlowe for a walk in a neighborhood we're thinking of building in. We had fun exploring! It was sunny & gorgeous, about 56 degrees.
Then we came home & decorated some more! We're almost done, just going to do a small portion of my village yet. I don't want to do too much, since we may have to start packing sooner than later. And it's such a glorious undertaking!
The plan for today is Christmas movies, baking, and football. GO, PACK, GO!!
Hope you all have a Christmassy day with your loved ones!

How exciting Snowflake, so much to look forward too! :)
Your plans sound perfect, have a wonderful day!
xo

Good Sunday Morning MMC! It's currently 40 degrees under sunny skies. We are expecting a forecast high temperature today of 57 degrees under mostly sunny skies. Can't ask for much nicer weather than that for the middle of November.
Anyway, already in to the 3rd day of the season? Wow...I feel like in a week from now things will start going crazy because we will head into Thanksgiving week in the USA. For us that's pretty much the start of Christmas 24/7 even from Christmas-haters (Hey who could hate Christmas? :)). I'm enjoying my Sunday morning here having my waffle and bacon. I plan on going grocery shopping later and watching some Christmas shows. I also am trying to zone in on what I'm going to buy for Christmas.
Have a great Sunday everyone!
Enjoy the warm day & Christmas shows!!!

I know I'm a little late seeing this, Holiday. But I refuse to believe that sweet girl could be ornery! ;)
Ha ha ha ~ oh, she's a heathen alright! :p

Well, after 8 days....

The Christmas Tree is complete. It looks amazing! Today, we get the outside lights up.
YAY!!! Can't wait to see a pic! Have a great day coach!

We had a rough start to our shopping journey. My mom asked me to bring her wheelchair considering she can only make it around her large city block once with her walker, she figured she'd tucker quickly if we were at the Mall or downtown. Heading down her front steps, I warned her about the frost and to becareful.

I was carrying her folded wheelchair down the steps and wouldn't you know it - I slipped on an icy patch. I hit the third last step down and slid down the last few onto the flat ground, still clutching the wheelchair. My mom was only two steps down and holding the railing and she's the one who managed to get down safely. It took me about five minutes to assess my situation and get up. She invited me to go back inside to tend to anything or perhaps cancel our plans, but I knew it would be better if I kept moving rather than sitting still. If I didn't work out regularly, I would not have gotten up and carried on so soon after a fall like that.

We went to one of our favourite novelty shops and spent over an hour searching for a few special gifts and she picked up a few homemade preserves and pancake mixes for herself.
We had lunch and then I was ready to pack it in as my body was starting to ache.

I drove around to the back door instead of using the front steps. She poked fun at me for that and I appreciated the humouur. I carried her wheelchair (was not used) inside and we met my dad with the story of the slip and fall. I said, "I was telliing mom to becareful because of the frost and then promptly demonstrated just how slippery those steps were by landing on my keister." All three of us were laughing about it.

Late yesterday and this morning, I realized how much I jarred my entire body. I have a few small blood blisters (from the wheelchair pinching me) and swelling in a few places making it hard to get comfortable in a seated position, but only one bruise on my lower back and some scrapes on my elbows. I did a bunch of stretching before going to bed and again this morning. I realize how much worse it could have been.

Grace and poise 0 / originality 9.

Pleased I found gifts for my brother and his girlfriend and my mom found some items to cross off her list so aside from my mishap, we had a lovely time.

Oh my goodness, that's scary. I'm glad you're alright.
Hope you have a nice day AMD!

You guys are all making me jealous with your decorating! I will be decorating in about a week.
I planned on waiting until Thursday but .... oops! Too late now! :D

It is an awesome feeling!

I hear you! My father-in-law and sister-in-law had stopped by to see Adrian while I was at work the other day, and thought I was nuts for having my Christmas up already :p and then Adrian had to go and tell them that I had had it up since November 1st! Ha ha!
LOL :D ~ I can about imagine what Jims family would say if they stopped in! :D:p Ah well....

Oh my, I'm glad you are ok! Sounds like a Merry day - minus the fall on your keister!

Great merry additions; I love them.
Thanks! :)

The across the creek neighbours and the neighbours next to them both have their Christmas lights up and while one turns them off when they go to bed, the other leaves them on all night. It gives me such a wonderful merry feeling to see them adding some colour and warmth to the dull naked trees.

Last year, I gave a Christmas card to the across the creek neighbours who usually turn their lights on the same weekend as the Canadian Thanksgiving. This year, I'll add the family next to them. I don't know them on a personal level, but I want to reach out and express my gratitude for their decorations so they'll keep at it and know that they're giving someone other than themselves pleasure.
Keep a merry thought in your head.
I'm sure they will appreciate the card. Nice idea!

Prayers for all those who need them, especially Coen.

Good morning MMC! A lovely day for catching up, church, and errands, along with time with my wonderful husband. Can't wait! Have a great day and enjoy some quality time with loved ones or yourself today!!
Congrats to you & your hubby on the race yesterday! Have a great day!

Thank you.....a lot of lights! LOL! I love a lot of lights! :D
I'm wondering how many people have walked or driven by today & said "LOOK! She has her tree up already!!!" Tee Hee! ;)
