Good Morning, Thanksgiving Week Folks!

Yes my Friends, we have indeed arrived at the week which contains the above long-awaited holiday.

Today's number tell the tale:
Days to Thanksgiving: 3 (UNDER HALF A WEEK remains!)
Days to Christmas Day: 32 (1 MONTH FROM THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW!!)


It was quite chilly here yesterday and will be even colder today.
Our temp this morning is 34 degrees with sub-freezing numbers expected for tonight before warmer weather creeps back in starting tomorrow.


Have a Marvelous Monday, Everyone. How about those 10-0 Panthers?!
(And the Packers are back on top, too!)

The Christmas Season really kicks into high-gear this week! Hoping to get the tree up this Friday. Will probably start putting some smaller stuff up as the week progresses.

The weekend before Thanksgiving is over and done, we sold over 500 turkeys this weekend alone.
I came again and took another impromptu nap.
Watching the Bengals game now, hoping they will be able to win this one, it is tied in the 3rd.

Today is my oldest daughters 22nd birthday. My goodness, where did the years go? We're going out for dinner this evening at her favorite restaurant to celebrate!

We put the tree up over the weekend and although we didn't get snow, we got good news that is nothing short of a Christmas miracle. Late last year, I mentioned that Mr Festive's department would be facing redundancies. It has been a constant worry and stress not knowing what the future held. On Friday, he was offered a secure role in another department with the same company. The manager there wanted him specifically for the position. The news couldn't have come at a better time with everything else that has been going on and I'm praying that everything goes smoothly.

I just wanted to say Thank You to everyone who kept us in their prayers and gave me support and encouragement through out.

Christmas magic is in the air ...

That's WONDERFUL news! I'm so happy for you and your family!

All is good at the minute, just trying to get a few things finished up before i go for my surgery on Saturday, will have to take it easy for a few weeks after that so will be doing nothing until the New Year

I will keep you in my thoughts. Here's to hoping your surgery goes well!

Congratulations with your daughter's birthday! As someone who is just a couple of years older, I can assure you she will soon begin to wonder the very same thing: where did the years go? Time just seems to go by faster and faster as you get older. Enjoy!

I may have to work, and it may be a Monday, but it's also my birthday and the week of Thanksgiving and a short work week, so I'm not too bummed about it! My husband and I celebrated this weekend since he works today and is on call tonight, so I feel fully loved already!
