Good morning! Hope everyone is rested and ready to enjoy even more rest and relaxation if you can over the weekend. I am off work. Yes!

I think I may nip out for a walk to the shops for a few snacks for our movie picnic and for the superbowl tomorrow. It is freezing but dry and the sun is also out.

Just a quick hello, I'm heading out soon to get my food shopping over with. I'm sure the stores are going to be packed between the Super Bowl and the snow that we're expecting Sunday in to Monday!

Cold weather?
Getting used to it.
(Well, not really. I will never get used to 40's temps coupled with wind like we had yesterday.)
Today should be calm and sunny but still cold.
For now, we have begun this weekend at 26 degrees here in central NC.

Hey! Last day of January. A month I'm happy to be leaving behind, especially this year with all the cold weather.

Good Saturday morning, my Christmas friends!

I don't know what Nancy has planned for me today, but I'm sure she has a plan.

I'm on the couch with a cup of coffee. It's one of my favorite cups; I got it in the Smoky Mountains at one of my favorite breakfast places in Maggie Valley.

Lulu still isn't feeling very well, but I'm thinking the medicine will take a few days to make a difference. She's asleep on the couch with me.

I have to get Elizabeth up soon to go to dance. It's a lot of work, but she loves ballet. She has a shirt that says "I can't. I have dance." LOL

Wow I just noticed it is colder right now in Georgia than 4300Ft elevation in northern Utah! We had a low this morning of 31F but its starting to rise to 33F at the moment. I just got the boys their cereal and asked them what they wanted to do today. Of course they want to play the wii. I actually love playing wii games with them. They are a handful but it's so much fun getting to see them have fun too!

Later on this afternoon the sitter is coming and we are going out to eat and see a movie(not sure which one yet) I am just glad we are eating dinner at EL Toreo I love love love their taco salad appetizer I just eat it as an entrée! I hope everyone is keeping warm if you live east of me! and if you live west or parallel with Utah, lets just enjoy the spring break weather we are having!!

Thanks! She ended up doing well! The doctor said a lot of the kids fail the one at school at this age, usually not understanding what they have to do. She has perfect eyes, for what she needs to be able to see right now!

Hey I actually forgot tomorrow was superbowl sunday! I don't watch pro-football BUT I do watch the superbowl. I am not rooting for the patriots for the simple reason they go to the bowl almost every year I mean come on there is such a thing as being too good?, that and when I was a young airmen I had a roommate that was a huge patriots fan and I learned they are deadly serious about their devotion!!!! so I will be supporting whoever they are playing(I actually forgot as of writing this post who they are up against!!!) But we usually host or either go to a party with some buddies from work, this year we are not hosting! I love the commercials too that is what I usually enjoy most, and watching the halftime performance! Well I better get up and start doing something or I will fall back asleep, which actually would not be a bad thing would it!!! have a great morning dear friends!

I can't root for the Patriots either. So I guess I have to root for Seattle since that is where my sister and her family lives. I'm really just going to be watching it for the commercials though. Plus it's a great reason to snack on some yummy food!!!!!!

Golly, over a thousand posts since last I was on here ~ not going to be able to catch up tonight, although I did make an attempt. Things have been busy out this way. Started doing a bit of part time work and it has taken up the majority of the week. Good to be busy, but I do miss being able to visit here at my leisure. My back is doing better ~ only a few minor twinges every now and then. Thank you so much for the thoughts and prayers ~ they really do work!!! {{{HUGS}}}

I'm going to watch her very closely through the night. It's sad to even write about but we had a precious little girl, five years old, in our church who died last week due to flu complications. Don't get me wrong, my daughter is not severe in any way! But as a parent you still worry. My heart breaks for that family. So tragic.
