Yes, my friends.
We are indeed nearing the third Milestone of the 2015 count, the 300-day Christmas Day Window.

The numbers:
Days to the Season: 264
Days to Christmas Day: 306

(LESS than ONE WEEK to go!)

Well, it did not warm up as much yesterday as was predicted and we remained in the mid to upper 30's, meaning of course that there is still lots of left over ice around.
Now today, they say mid 50's so perhaps we can get some serious melting under way.
We had some rain last night with more predicted for today.
For now, we are at 36 degrees here in the capital city.

I am sooo excited to get outside later and have some fun!!!!

But right now, I'm having my first cup of coffee, and watching The Fox and the Hound.....Next is Robin Hood! Boy, I sure do love the older Disney movies from when I was a kid....

Congrats on the snow!!! We were watching Robin Hood this morning.

My dad's grave marker is finally in and set. I went to the cemetery and saw it yesterday. That kind of hit me hard. I knew obviously he wasn't coming back, but seeing the headstone sure made it seem final.

Well, the kids are already praying for a snow day tomorrow. I doubt it but we can always dream.

Alright! I got the wood flooring installed in the bathroom and it's only 7:15. Got time to kick back a bit before calling it an evening. Today was a nice day, I do say, productive, fun and a bit tiring; should sleep good!!!!

I don't expect that it will be a long night for us, Lisa's home, she didn't work that double today, because she only had 3 hours sleep last night. You know how it is, it's kinda like trying to sleep at a hotel, yea your in a bed, but it's not yours....So, needless to say, she said she heard every little noise that was to be possibly made and she couldn't sleep well. So, like I was saying, early to bed tonight for her and I.

But, before that, I think I might have to mosey right on over to that freezer and get me one of those ice cream sandwiches from out of there....I think it's calling to me.......:-D

Evening all!

I am in a Christmas mood! We have tons of snow here and no Christmas to add to it! Was a good weekend. Got to see my friends from Australia. They came down for a little visit. Just watching a ppv wrestling event right now. Burning my SNOW Yankee Candle. Well back to my ppv. Have a good evening everyone!

I spent around 3 hours on the tractor outside, had a blast. I broke out the spreader and put a 40 lb bag of salt in it and gave the upper half of the driveway, a good coating of salt, so as to keep it safe for they are calling for a re-freeze of that solid melt we have had this afternoon. The sun is shining and it's rays are really warm. The temperature has climbed up to almost 45 degrees, but it is supposed to drop back down to 20 degrees late tonight.

I just got done having a late lunch, (2 red-hot, hot dogs, with yellow mustard and topped with bush's baked beans). That should tie me over till dinner later on tonight. Next, getting ready to start a couple tubs of laundry and also start installing some wood flooring in the bathroom. I actually feel like taking a nap, but I know that I got to move it, move it....

Glad you had fun on the tractor, that was quite a busy day you had planned.
