I know how you feel. That happened to Mr. last October, and he's still looking for full-time work. He's picking up temp and freelance work here and there, but it's been awfully spotty, and the severance runs out shortly, so my nerves have been awfully tight lately hoping for something steady to come along.

well the house is mostly clean again, I baked a dozen buns, made a lemon cheese cake and the lasagna is in the oven. If someone will bring the garlic bread and a bottle of wine we can have supper.

A lucky day for me! We were getting some things at Staples, and I saw a shelving unit I liked---four cubbyholes, with fabric bins in two of them. I had a coupon for !5% off, but they were out of stock and the coupon was good today only. On a whim, I went to the Christmas Tree Shop, because they sometimes have something similar. Would you believe it … they had the exact same item for less than half of what I would have paid at Staples! I'm glad Staples was out of stock! Of course I have to assemble it, but I think I can handle that. I want to store my yarn stash in it. I currently have my yarn dumped in a bin, and I hate digging through it to find what I want. The cubbyholes and bins will be just the thing, and will look tidier.

Hi friends! Busy day, busy weekend continuing! My SIL's bridal shower was today and I'm in the wedding, so I had to help with that and also got to partake in the fun festivities.

Back to work tonight I go, but I'm off tomorrow and DH will be off too, looking forward to it! He's been out of town all weekend teaching, so it's been crazy here! Hope you're all having a great weekend and are well!

Wow!!!! That is really wild looking...like candy canes and those giant lollipops all put together. And like a little Christmas psychedelic action going on....All of a sudden I feel like listening to some Jefferson Airplane - white rabbit and Bing Crosby - white Christmas!!!

No seriously, I really do like it, a lot.

You know darn well that if you put it up for auction, I'm most likely am going to bid on it.....LOL!!!!
