Good Sunday morning, my Christmas friends!

Boy, I worked a lot yesterday. After taking care of my part-time business work, I borrowed a pressure washer from my brother-in-law and pressure-washed Mrs. Hilda's house. It was a lot of work, and I slept like a log last night, but I LOVE running a pressure washer! I have to ask Santa for one this year!

We just got back from church. Now I'm off to lunch at mom's. This afternoon, we're pruning the pecan trees. oh, joy. LOL

Good morning ... sitting here enjoying my coffee and trying to catch up onthe all the posts :grin: as I didn't make it back on yesterday. Got side tracked cleaning, purging and rearranging the kitchen cabinets. Didn't realize how many opened containers of assorted cookie decorating christmas sprinkles I had. I was able to combine a couple containers.

Today going to pack up all winter bedding. Was going to do that last weekend but when I saw the roller coaster of temps and snow that was in the forecast I decided to wait an extra week. It was weird waking up to about 2 inches of snow yesterday morning and by 1 pm it was all gone.

Kids want to bake cookies and pretzels today so I guess I better get my day started. Will try to stop back in later.

I was going to start washing blankets and putting them away too but the 7 day forecast still shows some lows in the low 20's next week so I guess I will wait another week.

Today is the final day my dad is in Ottawa. He's been here for the past two weeks, including our vacation in Puerto Plata. He's flying back to the Sault tomorrow morning. I probably won't see him until sometime late in the summer. We've had some fun.

It's a cold Spring day in Ottawa. Yesterday, it was about freezing. Today, we're about -12c (10f)... even colder with windchill. Thankfully, we should be in positive temperatures on Tuesday. Hooray!

Well, I should get a few things done around the house. Laundry, laundry, and more laundry! Have a great Sunday, everyone!!

Today is the final day my dad is in Ottawa. He's been here for the past two weeks, including our vacation in Puerto Plata. He's flying back to the Sault tomorrow morning. I probably won't see him until sometime late in the summer. We've had some fun.



It's a cold Spring day in Ottawa. Yesterday, it was about freezing. Today, we're about -12c (10f)... even colder with windchill. Thankfully, we should be in positive temperatures on Tuesday. Hooray!

We ended up getting about 5 inches of snow and it is practically all gone already. So crazy.

Wow! Lucky for you!

I don't feel so lucky today after putting it together! What a chore that was, with no power screwdriver, and parts of it not lining up the way they should! Well, it's a bit wobbly, but it's in place and it's functional. I'd be a lot more unhappy if I'd paid the original price, though.

Thanks and I hope your Mr. gets an offer soon too. I am already working on back up plans and ways to cut household costs. Going to make sure the Christmas Club is handled so we wont have to worry about Christmas for the kids. Its scary .. that is for sure.

I think it's practice more than talent … I've been crocheting for a long time! My mom was a crocheter, too. She mostly made ripple afghans. And both my grandmothers crocheted. I guess it runs in the family!
