Christmas Countdown - 2015

I'm sooooo happy, that they still are playing Christmas Music on Direct TV channel 801, They just played some Darlene Love~

My goodness, it's already after 9 pm here on the East Coast. How is everyone doing? Any lingering New Years Eve celebration effects; LOL!

I've been out all day since around 1 this afternoon. Spent the day hanging out with my grandfather, just him and I. It's amazing, I've been raised by him, lived with him, hung around with him and still yet, to this very day, I'm 51 years old, and he still tells me stories of something that either I did not know, don't remember or never knew.... We really had a good time but for me, I had a great time hanging out with him, he's 96.3 years old and still going strong!.... Thank you Lord!

I am going into work tomorrow, figured I save a vacation day and go to the office, especially since hardly anyone will be there. Probably a good day to actually get something productive done - a lot less interruptions throughout the day.

I sure hope that 2015 is a great year! I have a wish that everyone of you and all of your families, has a wonderful, safe, healthy, wealthy and fun filled year. May the good Lord shine down on all of us, protect us and guide us~

Good evening!
I hope everyones first day of 2015 is going well. I was expecting my parents for dinner tonight but they decided to stay home because my father just found out that he has bronchitis. I woke up early and made a big pot of bolognese sauce, pasta, stuffed mushrooms, sausage & peppers and a big tossed salad. I have a lot of leftovers. Oh well, I'm sure they won't go to waste. If the girls don't eat it, their friends will. Anyway, I ended up cleaning today for hours. The house really needed a deep cleaning. I kind of let things go during the month of December. I have a little bit more to do tomorrow. I want everything in order before I go back to work next week. I'm hoping to get back in to that exercise routine now that I'm not running around doing all of that christmas shopping. Well I'm feeling kind of sleepy so I think I'll turn in soon. I hope everyone enjoys the rest of the evening!

Glad you had a great visit with your Grandfather!!! Both of mine had passed by the time I was 3, so that is something that I never got to experience.

That is great so many have come in today, I love it when there are so many friends posting here.

I am starting the New Year off trying to be here more, the month of December I was barely here, and boy did I miss it.

It's good to be at home tonight, the home I grew up in. A few of our neighbor friends have stopped by & offered up condolences. It's been a tough week, but so many kind and loving people have humbled us. Thank you all again for your support & friendship [emoji170]
