Good evening everyone....Took Kandice to the Movies today...my grandma is in the Hospital....she has gallstones...some prayers would be appreciated!

We watched Paddington at the movie...we loved it - it s cute funny and a bit thoughtfull! Watching it made me want to move to GB!!!

Thanks! Unfortunately, the client hasn't even finished their meeting yet. It has to go through our creative department to make the client's changes before it comes to me, and it's already 3:45. Fooey!

Update: The office called about 4:10. After all that waiting … the client had no changes after their meeting. Oh, well! At least I can stop standing by.

Well that's quite a bummer after waiting around all day!!!!

He had to take off work again today. He didn't want to because he now lost his holiday pay from yesterday but he was really feeling rough.

Praying that he start's to feel better soon.

Good Afternoon Gang! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! Its just unreal how fast time went flying by once October came. I was not as ready as I would like to have been for Christams. I have been working on assembing my Christmas Notebook so I can be more organized and ready for next Christmas.

We did take down all the inside Christmas decorations .. outside is still up but that will come down either this weekend or next. Debating if we want to leave the snowman up for another month or so. We shall see ....

we have a big storm headed our way, due to arrive some time tomorrow. Ice rain and snow, going to be fun! Good thing I have no where to go.

We also have prints of a couple films that are in better shape than the video versions. Plus plenty of non-Christmas movies that have never been on video.

Happy New Year again everyone! I hope you all enjoyed your new year celebrations.

Time to embrace the fresh start!

Well I feel like the season is over for us. The kids and Mr Festive return to work on Monday, Christmas24 TV will end and I will start taking the decorations down. Monday is usually a tough one but I know you all will be here.

I went to the shops on Wednesday and it tore at my heart a little to see the Christmas stuff all sparse and condensed to one shelf. A few were damaged and fallen over.

However , as I get older I realise how fast a year can go by. The fact that we all get excited for Autumn means that it's only 8 months till everything starts all over again. Anyway, the older I get the less I want to wish the year away. I actually look forward to spring and Easter and of course the summer!

It is getting harder to see the stores get less and less Christmas merchandise on the shelves. It makes October seem so far away.

The PCB's have been coming and going for me, today has been a good day, but I know I will have a few more bouts with them as I head back to work and take down all my decorations. I hope you are coping well.

A new Countdown! Yay!!! :???:

I hope everyone is enjoying the New Year so far. Ours was nice. We had our oldest grandson stay the night. We had a nice dinner, sparkling juice in champagne glasses, popped off poppers, a movie then watched some Christmas shows.

New Year's Day we had a big breakfast then our grandson joined Snow-in-Texas and me at my job to feed the animals. Afterward we headed to Starbucks and came home to take down the tree while listening to Christmas music! The house still looks festive because we still have some decorations and lights up around the house. We then went shopping and lunch all the while playing Christmas music in the car. One of the stores we stopped at was still playing Christmas music too! We came home and played Yahtzee. Our grandson stayed another night with us.

Snow-in-Texas and I are still feeling the Christmas spirit without any letdown. Hopefully the blues won't set it - so far doing well!!!

Good morning!
My husband's vacation is over, he headed back to work this morning. Not too much going on here, I plan on doing some more cleaning. I hope to finish that up today so I can have a relaxing weekend. I also want to work on a menu plan and grocery list for next week. My husband said he wants to go out to dinner tonight, just the two of us. Haven't had a date night in quite some time. That's about it for me today.

Good Friday morning, my Christmas friends!

Today is my last holiday day from work, in the last two weeks I've only worked two days, but I'm planning on enjoying the day. We're going out to a matinee this afternoon, I'm thinking Night at the Museum, then whatever the kids want to do. I feel like we've ignored them while Nancy's mom has been in the hospital, but Mrs. Hilda is doing better, so we need to tighten up the family life.

First I have to run out to mom's to replace a wax ring under a toilet. yippee! LOL
