I like to ease the post-Christmas blues by looking for houses still decorated.
Lots in our neighborhood today (including ours)!

Cool!! I'm on my way. My family is having a big Christmas party back there this afternoon at the fire hall so we can stop by there for me to say hi and see Santa!!!!

we have lots in our area still lit up too !

Driving home last night , everyone still had their outside stuff up and lit. That is usually the case till after after jan 06th though. By next weekend , it will be unusual to see houses lit... apart from the odd one which is always fun to spot!

Sitting here waiting for a phone call---there's a job coming in today even though the office is closed. A client is insisting on making changes to some ads, but we don't know when the feedback is coming, so I'm pretty much housebound. I could start packing up decorations, but I don't really have the heart to do that until tomorrow or Sunday. I tell myself I can't be in the middle of something when the office calls. So I'll write dates in my 2015 calendar book and check in here now and then.

LOL, I sometimes turn my phone off so work cannot call me in. Then the days I would like to be called in and no one calls.
I still have decorations to pack up but keep putting it off too.

Happy Friday everyone!!! Soooooo - we had friends over & stayed up to watched the Buckeye game last night - WOW what a game!!! So today I'm really sleepy - was wishing I had taken the day off work. I get to work & I'm the only one here besides my boss!!! And he says "I didn't know you were coming in today"! What the heck!!! Should have stayed in bed! But when he gets back from lunch, I'm calling it a day! Going to meet up with some of our lake neighbors for "happy hour" later on at the lake! Looking forward to it.

Hope you are all having a great Friday & a nice weekend ahead in the plans!

Hey all, how is your day going. Mine seem to be over in a flash! It's now just after 5pm here and I'm not sure where the day went. I am just enjoying the last couple days we are all off. I will be burying myself into work from next week - that should get me through the worst winter months lol

I took down a few decorations. The un christmassing has begun. It's not been too bad though, hoping my spirits stay high.

It doesn't feel like a Friday today. I guess because I was at work yesterday and it was a holiday etc. In the mood for a good film. I have been dying to see the latest X-Men. Maybe we will watch that later.

I went shopping this morning and just took a pan of homemade buns out to the oven.

Thanks!!! I've got the Santa's all down and packed away. I'm okay with them being all packed away. I have a couple that stay out all year in my bedroom and most of them are in my bedroom closet in clear tote's. So when I open the door to it to get my clothes out, i see them.

Why ? What's in the attic? *cue dramatic music *

She had spotted a rather large snake in her attic!!!!

It would be so great to have a neighborhood buddy who appreciates the vintage films that we do! And you'd see some movies you'll never see anywhere else because they have never been released to video. Oh, yeah, that would be great!

Good Afternoon Gang! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! Its just unreal how fast time went flying by once October came. I was not as ready as I would like to have been for Christmas. I have been working on assembling my Christmas Notebook so I can be more organized and ready for next Christmas.

We did take down all the inside Christmas decorations .. outside is still up but that will come down either this weekend or next. Debating if we want to leave the snowman up for another month or so. We shall see ....

I love having a Christmas notebook, really helps to organize things.
I am opposite of you, knowing a storm was on the way we took the outside decorations down first while it was fairly nice out.

I do not think any of us are ever as prepared as we would like to be, life seems to get in the way as well as all those unexpected things that always come up.
But it is fun to work at it as much as we can !

Well my Santa's are all down and packed away. I really need to stop buying so many. I'm running out of places to store them!!! I might have to get a storage unit if I keep this pace up!!!

I also have all of the ornaments off of the tree. Trying to decide if I should just go ahead and take it down too. I wanted one more night with the lights but now I'm thinking I should just get it over with.

Good afternoon!
Been on the run all day. Went to Target, the bank, the supermarket & the butcher. Put groceries away, straightened up the house and started laundry. Having a quick cup of coffee right now but I'm heading back out soon. My daughter has a few errands to run and she's begging me to go with her. I'll pop back in here later today.

Good evening everyone....Took Kandice to the Movies today...my grandma is in the Hospital....she has gallstones...some prayers would be appreciated!

We watched Paddington at the movie...we loved it - it s cute funny and a bit thoughtfull! Watching it made me want to move to GB!!!

praying for your grandma, gallstones are no fun to have. Hopefully it can be resolved without surgery.
