Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's a wet, dreary morning today, but we could always use some rain. Mrs. Hilda continues to improve, and I hope they decide to move her to a closer hospital for physical therapy, maybe by the end of the week. *fingers crossed*

We got some good news here at work late last week, and I'm hoping we all reap some of the benefits soon. I don't want to jinx it, so I'll stop there. :wink:

Well my day is now very different, take a look at my new foot ware

Walked into work and sprained my ankle. . Wow did that ever hurt ! Have to stay completely off it for three days

Happy New Year folks, and thanks for carrying the torch...It seems odd to be still in the Christmas spirit but I am, against all odds I might add! 2014 will go down in history as about a 6 out of 10 but I'm alive, happy, healthy...What more could a man want...The year started out quietly and I can already see some challenges on the horizon and have experienced some sadness as our oldest and dearest kitty became too sick to live on...She was mentioned at the bottom of Louann's posts, along with Taz and Rizzo...Dear Zema was almost 19...We miss her and love her...But onward we go.

Hope 2015 is a 10 for everyone! And thanks for keeping the porch light on.

Very nice, thank you! We hadn't seen him since before Thanksgiving, so he brought a delicious cake that said "Happy 19th Day of Christmas"! He knows the best bakeries! I put on some Christmas music and we all had a big slice.

That is a great thing to put on a cake.

Thank you Merry. I'm playing it safe, right now the temperature is hovering around that 32 degree mark, where the main roads are in great shape, but the country bumpkin roads are like taking your life in your own hands.... I got a feeling that tonight will be fun with the re-freeze their calling for.... I'll be in the house here tonight, with the fireplace on and one of your blankets wrapped around me....

I love them, they seriously keep the body heat under them and when two people are under them, things can really start to heat up..... :lol: I mean keep you very warm.....LOL!!!:lol:

I did not get a chance to log on yesterday work was crazy busy but is finally starting to slow down a bit.

My daughter stayed home today with a really bad cold and cough..I am hoping it is gone quickly and no one else catches it.

Good evening, friends! Just wanted to stop in and say hi. I'm not going to get a chance to read the posts to day, but hopefully will get caught up tonight/tomorrow.

I ended up having to work 12 hours again last night and it was a shift I care not to do over for a while.

Well, I better try do a few things here and lay down for the evening. I'll try guys tomorrow. Just wanted to let you guys know I was thinking about you!

Good afternoon gang ... We had a 2 hour delay for work this morning due to slippery road conditions. By the time I left the house, the roads were not that bad a few slick spots here and there. Since I had extra time I stopped at Hallmark on my way into work and scored on a bunch of ornaments for our kids. I even picked up a few that I liked for the tree and a few more for gifts for extended family. Got to love 75% off sales!!!

We did take down all the outdoor Christmas decorations yesterday but left the snowman out and strung up snowflake lights across the front of the deck. We will keep them there until March.

Well my lunch break is almost over. Have a great day everyone.

That's why I want to get out of here and go to the office, since I've been here today, Lisa's been chasing me around the house......:-D

Well, to be a little more descriptive, Lisa has been chasing me around the house to vacuum, help her decorate the house, hang pictures, finish the laundry, make the bed....I need to go to work to get some rest~ LOL!!!!!:lol:

The dreaded honey-do list, I know how it is to want escape that.

I am relaxing but finding it a tad boring, but it is starting to feel better as long as I do not attempt to walk on it. Standing up reminds me quickly to sit down again!

Your exactly right...I am sooo glad I found this place..for so long I felt like I was the only one who went nuts for the holidays!

I felt the same way for years. Especially in July watching QVC with never planning to buy anything. This place is the best.
