Well my day is now very different, take a look at my new foot ware

Walked into work and sprained my ankle. . Wow did that ever hurt ! Have to stay completely off it for three days

Owwweeee!!!

I hope that the pain has subsided and you will be on your feet quickly.

Happy New Year folks, and thanks for carrying the torch...It seems odd to be still in the Christmas spirit but I am, against all odds I might add! 2014 will go down in history as about a 6 out of 10 but I'm alive, happy, healthy...What more could a man want...The year started out quietly and I can already see some challenges on the horizon and have experienced some sadness as our oldest and dearest kitty became too sick to live on...She was mentioned at the bottom of Louann's posts, along with Taz and Rizzo...Dear Zema was almost 19...We miss her and love her...But onward we go.

Hope 2015 is a 10 for everyone! And thanks for keeping the porch light on.

Those darn squirrels always getting in and destroying the toilet paper!!! LOL!!!!

Gracie looks cold but like she isn't to happy that she had to come back in!!!

Blame the poor defenseless squirrels! :lol:
That's the look she gives us every morning that we have to go to work!! She knows when Jim comes down in that brown uniform, we are leaving her again. Poor Gracie! ;-)

It did sound heavenly, but it didn't happen! I stopped at Mom/Dads to bring their mail in, then went home & did laundry & unloaded/re-loaded the dishwasher. Ah well...a few less things I have to do tonight now!

Hello Christmas friends.

We lost Happy tonight. He took a turn for the worse, and yesterday the vet stated she believed he had a brain tumor. He was suffering more and more and went down hill quickly. The vet recommended we send him on as his quality of life was getting bad. We already miss him!

It is!!! They always have their biggest one in Scottsdale, AZ the second weekend of January. I would love to go one year. This year it's even bigger than normal. One of the biggest collectors in the country is selling off his entire collection. They are selling off some of his lower end cars tonight and they are going for $150,000 to $350,000. Saturday night they will sell off the multi million dollar ones.

Any well known cars being sold this year?

I think it was a few years ago the Batmobile was the big name car.

Kimmie is five.

The vet told us last night that Happy was probably about 11 and that in our terms he was about 75 years old. He sure didn't seem that old.

I know this is fast...we just lost Happy. But my uncle has a dog he adored but his daughter is highly allergic to her. So he had to find her a good home, and wanted her to stay in the family. So, meet Kimmie...


She's an Australian Shepherd and is a sweetheart! She's ready to claim her spot in the MMC Pantheon of Pets.

Our little "princess" cat Ophelia has a thing for toilet paper, she unwinds the whole roll if we don't catch her, or she will knock the roll off the holder and move it throughout the house. We love her dearly but her TP fetish is getting old. cheesy

I am sitting most of the time only get up to visit the ladies room which unfortunately is upstairs. Still pretty sore. Tlaked to the boss this morning and she had booked me off for 7 days. Not sure what hurts more, the ankle or 7 days of no work!

I have finally caught up after being behind for days. I have been so sick the last few days, after I went to bed on Monday night by 9:30 I didn't get out of bed until 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon. I went to bed before 10 o'clock last night again. I am pretty sure I have the flu, I looked up the symptoms and I have each and every symptom listed. I haven't felt this bad in a long time, I have only eaten soup the last few days.
I haven't had the energy to take down the trees and other decorations so they will be up a little longer until I feel better. I called out of work today, and JP is home sick from school today.

Hope you feel better soon man. I looked on the CDC website and every state except California and Nevada are having widespread outbreaks of the flu. Brandi says half her class has been out this week sick. I always use to take Theraflu if I did not have to work because it knocked the symptoms away and took the fever down but it also knocked me out..at any rate rest up and feel better soon!

Any well known cars being sold this year?

I think it was a few years ago the Batmobile was the big name car.

Nothing to well known this year. The highlights are going to be the higher end cars from the Ron Pratte collection. He has some really nice one off piece's that will be going across the block Saturday night. Including a 1950 GM futerliner bus that he bought for $4 million 8 years ago. They sold the first 110 cars out of his collection last night and they brought in almost $14 million. It's expected that by the time it's all said and done, his collection will go for almost $50 million.
