To our first Milestone of 2015, that is.

Let's check the numbers to see which one we are talking about:
Days to the Season: 301
Days to Christmas Day: 343

And, of course, we are referring to the 300-Day Season Window.
And then.
The beginning of a 200's level Season count.
(Our first big step!)


Still the cold.
But at least the ice and rain have departed, hopefully for a while.
Nicer weather just around the corner, the meteorologists say.
But today has still begun cold at 30 degrees here in the capital city.

Good morning MMC!! Happy Happy Friday!!! I know why we go out for birthdays on Thursday nights - at least when we get home so late, we only have to make it through one more day of work! cheesy We had a lot of fun. Missy got so many "nice" gifts. Lots of hand crocheted "really nice" things, which she had to wear! She said she felt so blessed (but there was sarcasm in her voice) We had a big crew - 8 of us last night (it's usually 4 or 5) ~ I guess everyone is getting cabin fever already!

You're right - lavender is great for sleep! It's worked for me in the past. I don't have much trouble anymore, as far the insomnia goes; I just don't get much sleep anymore, but lavender does work great!

I love the bath & body works pillow spray. I have the "Stress Relief" but they also have sleep sprays which have lavender vanilla & the other has lavender chamomile. Love mine - it's almost gone, will have to get some more!

It's Friday, it's snowing hard (yeah) and the storm has taken out my entire fence. The good and the bad all at once.

I hope all who are not well are feeling better today. I woke up feeling a slight touch of something so I have just been on the cross trainer working out. I am going to get some house work done now too . I am hoping to fool my body past it and sweat out those toxins.

This week went by so quickly! We are half way through January already!!

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!!!! It's going to be downright comfortable here today with a high of 34 degree's!!!! WooHoo!!!!! I have some errands to run today and then it will be back home to just kick back and relax. The police caught up with the driver that run into my brother in law yesterday. I guess it wasn't to hard to find him since I found out it happened on the part of the interstate that leads to Boeing. So my BIL knew the guy worked at the same place as him. The guy is trying to say my BIL ran into him though. Which is weird. If someone ran into you, wouldn't you pull over to get their information and see if they did any damage to your truck? Not just keep on driving and go on into work? Oh well. My BIL is just waiting to see what the guys insurance company says before deciding what to do next. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!

Good afternoon,

Welp, I finally caved in and called the Dr, I feel worse today than yesterday. I have an appt tomorrow morning. The last straw was I went out to do a couple of errands and I felt like I couldn't leave the store because I felt dizzy and couldn't focus on driving. I have been knocked on my butt by this thing. I still have no appetite, and have forced myself to eat some soup. I did have some turkey noodle which was really good. Just sitting and watching TV with the boys right now.

I am just sitting here watching the Bruins, heading to bed soon. I don't feel well...yada yada. I think all I have eaten since Monday is soup, I changed it up a little tonight, broth with white rice. It did calm my stomach, I was really getting sick of feeling nauseated all the time. cheesy
I was laying on the bed earlier, and our cat, Alex ran right across my face with his claws out. I have a deep gash on my nose that wouldn't stop bleeding for at least 15 minutes, I am just glad I didn't lose an eye.

You know when it rains it pours.

Good evening everyone! I 'm at work on break and just wanted to tell everyone goodnight! It has been a long day. Ifinallly went to sleep after breakfast this morning and woke up just in time for work at 3!

@xmas365- Man that sounds brutal, I really would get checked out asap, I hope you get to feeling better soon!

I better get back to work, it has been a very busy night with still half the crew out sick!goonight guys!

Yes, Great minds think alike.... We had Mexican tonight as well. We all went out to dinner at a Mexican restaurant and I had enchiladas (3 different types), refried beans and the works. For dessert, we all had fried Ice Cream with honey drizzled over it....Yum, Yum, Yum......

Last night I had the Cuco Special: Grilled chicken breast marinated, grilled onions, mushrooms, melted mozzarella cheese. Served with Mexican rice, lettuce & sour cream
The marinade has some kick - Mmmmmm!
And a million chips & salsa! They have the best! :-D

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!!!! It's going to be downright comfortable here today with a high of 34 degree's!!!! WooHoo!!!!! The guy is trying to say my BIL ran into him though. Which is weird. If someone ran into you, wouldn't you pull over to get their information and see if they did any damage to your truck? That is downright insane! I agree it isn't typical behaviour of someone who was supposedly hit. Hope it gets sorted in your BIL favour! goodluck with your errands and enjoy your R&R. I am doing the same mot of the weekend.

Hey it's pretty slow here today. I am feeling a lot better, thanks for the well wishes. I am hoping my body is fighting it off.

Not much happening here this evening. I am making chicken chasseur for dinner. A friend of ours from out of town is supposed to pop by tonight for a couple of hours. Other than that I look forward to some watching Netflix after he leaves and maybe some reading. We are expecting snow over night. We'll see.

Busy day so far, I had an appointment & errands to run this morning.
Just wanted to share the news, we are keeping the kitty cat that my hubby found. I kind of fell in love with her. I'm bringing her to the vet in a little while. I need to come up with a name by the time I get to there. I'm praying she is healthy, fingers crossed. I'll keep you posted.
Oh and my husband is bringing me to the Islander game this evening, they're playing Pittsburgh. I'm so excited!
