Merry Morning All!

Hope you are all doing well this morning. Mr Festive had to come home from work yesterday. He has just been to the doctor's. He is feeling pretty low in spirits on top of not feeling well. I am making him slow down and take things easy for the nest few days - he needs a time out.

My eldest is still down with a cold but he is ding good. Thank you so much for the prayers and well wishes everyone, appreciate it

Good Morning, Three-Weeks-to-the-Second, Friends.



What are we talking about?



Well, hold on.

First, let's gaze at this little tidbit of information:

Days to the Season: 295

Days to Christmas Day: 337



And now, to explain the first sentence.

It is an irrefutable fact that as of today, as of this very day, we are precisely (and I do mean precisely) three weeks away from our second Milestone of Christmas Countdown 2015, the ONE QUARTER marker to the Season.

('Tis true, 'tis true, Folks.)





As promised by the weather service, yesterday was a bit cooler than Tuesday, but still pretty nice for January.

Today will see a continuation of the slide, however, and by this weekend, winter should be making its presence felt once again here in our part of MMC.

We have begun this day before Weekend Eve at an already chilly 31 degrees.





Hey. Great evening at the 'Pines yesterday, wasn't it?

Nice entertainment and refreshments......although I did find the camel-shaped ice sculpture a bit over the top and somewhat self-serving.

But say. That's good old Carl for you, right?

Good morning form the central part of the Mid-Atlantic state of Maryland! Awoke this morning, to a 30 degree, foggy with scattered reports of black ice, schools starting 2 hours late; which mean lighter traffic, (which is good) and the wife beating on me to wake up this morning. Man, was I in such a deep sleep this morning, It took her several attempts to get me to wake up. Lisa said I was talking and mumbling in my sleep again late last night, apparently, I woke her up, so she was returning the favor this morning :-?

Anyhow, coffee is the only thing on the radar at the moment, (I can seriously dig a Folgers moment right about now......) and then after that, just the daily grind at the office.

My wish for all of you today, is to have a great day~:wink:

Good morning, friends! Not much going on today. Both the kids are at school and DH has a meeting this morning, so Ella and I are just hanging out. I'm watching a movie currently, sitting by the fire, and drinking a cup of coffee.

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

I hoped to enjoy the day yesterday, getting off early to take Jacob to the dentist. It was just supposed to be a routine fitting for a mouth-guard that lasted 2 hours! By the time I got out of there and back home, it was too late to enjoy the day. Grrrr. Dentists! (j/k)

It's still supposed to get close to 70° today, so I'll open the windows in the office again. The windows in the main office don't open. I love being in this semi-permanent temporary office trailer! :lol:

I miss my trailer days!!! Loved being on a jobsite, or in the yard outdide the main office!

Bummer you weren't able to go fishing yesterday.

Well....DD was up at 1 a.m. on Friday, throwing up! We slept in the living room the rest of the night & she was at it again by 5 a.m. We both stayed at home on Friday & she was feeling better by late morning.

Monday was a holiday for both of us, so we visited with my parents & nieces after DD's dental appointment. Thankfully she didn't have heaps of make up work to do for school on Tuesday night.

So glad the weekend is near. Even though it's been a "short week" it has felt long to me!

Hope this finds everyone doing great! Pizza and a movie are on taps for us. Two more days and then the weekend...

Although I don't know what I'm going to do...no football, baseball, racing...maybe a Netflixathon or a Walking Deadaton....

Sounds like a good weekend ahead. Does seem odd to not have any sports - well, basketball I guess! Speaking of, I haven't caught a Buckeye game yet, I think they play tonight. Might have to see if/when they play this weekend.

The official snowfall total from outside my house was about 3 inches from today. It was enough or should I say an excuse enough, where I could break out the tractor with my new 4 foot wide snow blower attachment on the front of it.....and have some fun!!!!!:lol:

Everyone is all curled up with a blanket around them at the moment, relaxing, (including myself) and sitting in front of the fireplace. It's going to be an early night tonight for me, because I have been getting up so early almost every morning, so I can head to head into work early. I'm tired, but I'm still holding on for the moment, maybe long enough to chat a little....

I'm glad you had fun playing with your toy!! Sounds like it was pretty cozy at your house last night. Sounds pretty wonderful right now! :grin: Have a great day xmas. Stay safe!
