Good Morning, Folks.

Still we march towards Christmas Season 2015, as marked by our Milestones, the next one of which looms a scant 16 days off.

Days to the Season: 290

Days to Christmas Day: 332

That next marker being the one-quarter point to the Season, of course -- Milestone marker number two.

Well, the rain has stopped but it's turning colder.

Mild considering what is happening to the northeast, but chilly for us.

Today has begun at 33 degrees here in the central NC part of MMC.

Have a Terrific Tuesday and keep warm and safe, Everyone!

Thanks, Crown!

Hope you stay warm as well!

Good Afternoon, MMC!!!!! I'm glad to see that everyone is safe and sound so far in the northeast!!!! I hope you can all get dug out soon!!! It's going to be a chilly day here with a high around 30 degree's. We met with the rep from the lawyers office this morning and signed the papers for them to appeal mom's disability ruling. He said the first appeal usually only takes 4 to 5 weeks to hear back on. It runs about 94% denials though. Then the second appeal is in front of a judge and can take almost a year to get a date. So hopefully she will be one of the 6% that gets approved on the first review because I can't really afford to support her for another 12 to 14 months. I have a few things to do and then I will be back to get caught up. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!

I hope she is in the 6% that is approved.

Good morning mmc! it's wimpy 30F outside this morning...but still I had to jack the heat up to 72F.:( Now I am about to head back to bed since the boys ate breakfast and want a nap time! Hope everyone has a great morning..hope you all have power..that storm looks crazy on the sattalite loop!

Good afternoon, Dawg! Hope you're staying warm and having a great day!

Thanks! We've heard from a couple clients this morning already, though, so I expect there'll be more jobs throughout the day.

The snow and wind are still pretty wild here. The wind has forced snow between the screens and the windows. The drifts are astonishing. It's going to take a while to dig out when this finally ends early tomorrow!

I hope your afternoon is going well & you are able to relax some! Is it still snowing?

Good morning MMC! Happy Tuesday!

Seems the weather is the news of the day. Hope you all are safe & warm & enjoying it! Candles burning, fire going, & relaxing!

Not much going on here today. Last night was pretty uneventful. Stopped at Mom & Dads after work. Dad is in good spirits, so that's a very good thing. We had leftovers for supper, so that was easy. I watched Maid In Manhatten on tv. That's about it. I'm freezing at work for some reason today ~ might have to bump up the thermostat a degree! :)

Have a great day everyone!

Good afternoon, Holiday! Glad to hear your dad your dad is keeping his spirits high. That is so important!

Hope you were able to get warm! I always freeze at work! [emoji300]️

Have a great afternoon/evening!

We're doing well. About an hour ago we had 19 inches of snow, and it's still falling. Our friend who plows us out was by about 4 a.m. and is back now. We left a bag lunch for him in our mailbox for overnight and called his cellphone to let him know it was there. Now Mr. is fixing him and his helper some microwave beef stew and some sandwiches to take with them. I wish I'd thought of doing that years ago---he really appreciated having a quick bite to eat when he's working for so long without rest. So if you know your plow guy, fix him a sandwich!

Wow! 19 inches so far!

That is so nice that you do that for your plow guy.

Good Morning! I'm being a slacker this morning. I woke up at 5 am, got up, looked out the window and saw that everything was covered with snow again. So, I turned off the alarm clock and went back to bed.... I didn't wake up till 9:30. I had remote logged into the offices computer and had signed out this morning till noon.

So, looks like we did get a few of the Nor'easter storm snow bands to wrap around and linger over central Maryland early this morning while everyone was in bed sleeping. I guess it looks like about 3 inches outside total...

I'm going to drink another cup of coffee, then get dressed and go fire up the tractor and clear the road out.....

Have a good morning. My thoughts are with all of you in the path of the blizzard, stay safe.:sparkle:

Good afternoon, Xmastidings! Hope you're having a great day!

Good afternoon everyone. It's cold and windy and there's still some light snow falling but the worst is over. My area ended up with about 21 inches of snow. We finished digging the cars out and the back yard is shoveled for the dogs. My husband had two snow blowers that he kept at his shop and they were both ruined when we had the flood back in August. He never got around to buying a new one but thankfully our neighbor brought his over and helped us out. We better pick a new one up before the next storm. Not too much going on right now, my vegetable soup is cooking and it smells great in here. The kids aren't crazy about it though so I'm going to make them enchiladas for dinner. I don't mind, I don't really have anything else to do. We're going to stay in and watch the Islander-Ranger game tonight, so happy to hear that is wasn't canceled!
I hope everyone is well and is having a great day so far!!!

That was nice of your neighbor to help out, 21 inches is a lot of snow.

I can't even imagine what 21" of snow would look like!! It's been so long... I'm glad you are all safe. Nice that your neighbor helped you out. We share a snow blower with our neighbors, since we USUALLY don't need one too often. Many of our neighbors went together on snowblowers, makes them more affordable! Hope your dinner is yummy - sounds delicious!
