Thanks sugar! It is important! I was there at lunch today & he was maneuvering his way around in his wheelchair - playing solitaire on the computer. Lol!
I'm usually cold at work too. Ready to go hum & snuggle under a blankt!

Good afternoon everyone. It's cold and windy and there's still some light snow falling but the worst is over. My area ended up with about 21 inches of snow. We finished digging the cars out and the back yard is shoveled for the dogs. My husband had two snow blowers that he kept at his shop and they were both ruined when we had the flood back in August. He never got around to buying a new one but thankfully our neighbor brought his over and helped us out. We better pick a new one up before the next storm. Not too much going on right now, my vegetable soup is cooking and it smells great in here. The kids aren't crazy about it though so I'm going to make them enchiladas for dinner. I don't mind, I don't really have anything else to do. We're going to stay in and watch the Islander-Ranger game tonight, so happy to hear that is wasn't canceled!
I hope everyone is well and is having a great day so far!!!

Hey All-

We survived the storm here in CT...we got 24 inches and the school in my town are canceled for tomorrow but we did not lose power so I can deal with it.

Hope you are all stayed safe and everyone that is not feeling well..hope you are on the mend soon!

I am trying to decide on what to make for dinner...always a chore for me..we'll see.

I watched Christmas Vacation last night that always makes me laugh no matter how many times I watch it!

Yes indeed … the travel ban is still on in my part of the state. I had a few jobs this morning, but none since, so it isn't so bad. Maybe one or two more before the day ends.

Did you get to stay home today? I hope so. You're probably through the worst of it now out west there. We're still getting some pockets of heavy snow on and off here.

I hope she is in the 6% that is approved.

I hope she will be, too. It seems like a no-brainer to me, but proving it by law is a whole different kettle of fish. I guess they have to be tough because of the scammers, but it makes it so much harder on those who have a legitimate claim.

Oh, yeah, it sure is! It slows down for a bit, then it revs up all over again. I think that's supposed to be the pattern until late tonight. The western part of the state is in better shape---the travel ban has been lifted out there. I'm guessing we have close to two feet out there, because we had 19 inches early this morning.

The storm wasn't as bad as they were originally planning for us. We have 12 inches so far, but it looks like it has started to wind down. 45 minutes to the east of us in Auburn, MA they have got 32 inches so far.
I finally took down 2 of my trees today, 2 more to go. The room looks so empty without it. I still have 2 more trees to take down, maybe tomorrow.

Just resting and relaxing now.

It is very slow now, but I called out when it was coming down quite heavy.
They ended the travel ban around 1pm. We still may get another 5-10 inches when all is said and done.
