Hello everyone. I have missed being here. We made our annual trip to Great Wolf Lodge in Texas, rode a ton of water slides and had a lot of fun!

I just realized or I should say, we just discovered that we forgot to take down the Christmas wreath from the front door and pull up the winter mat outside that says Merry Christmas. I was just going to put them away and I stopped and said ahhhh, it isn't hurting anything, lets keep them out till spring...And she said ok! I think I'm starting to rub off on her - YES!!!!!:!!

I do have this Christmas scene picture, that is still out hanging on the wall, it's like 20x18, that lights up with these multi colored lights of a country house with Christmas lights on it, in the snow...It's really neat!:smile:

Good evening good friends! Were staying in tonight, relaxing a bit before turning in early. We both have to get up early and go to work tomorrow morning. Lisa has to work tomorrow for her normal weekend shift and then a double on Sunday. And me, I have to go in and make up some time, that I lost from on Tuesday when we had that water leak. I want to get in there early, before the snow starts to fall by noon tomorrow.

Were watching Love it or List it Too, having an Ice Cream sandwich and soaking up the warmth from the fireplace. And let me tell you, just how good that feels at the moment. I had to go outside earlier, and walk down to the shed at the back of the property and wow, is it cold out there. I went down there with no gloves and I thought my hands were going to freeze carrying a couple of buckets back up here to the house.

Good morning! Friday; Yes.... I just love Fridays~

I would defiantly say, that it was just a wee bit cold this morning at the house; 0 degrees F; and that's no wind chill temperature neither....

I just took a peek at Accuweather a moment ago and here it comes again.... Looks like tonight into Saturday night will be a little wintery!

There is a sign outside the church down the road from me that says:

"Praying for snow? Please stop."

This will be the 4th weekend in a row where we have a snowstorm to worry about.

A clear case of "be careful what you wish for." Those of us who are sick of snow will now get a variety---snow, sleet, and/or freezing rain! The radio has been warning us to clear away whatever falls before Sunday night, because it will all freeze solid by Monday morning. So the ice phase of the winter begins!

Did anyone see the news story about the snow that slid off a roof in Cambridge and completely buried a pedestrian earlier this week? He had to be dug out, and the friends he was walking with were knocked down and injured. At least it wasn't a chunk of ice.

I didn't here of that one, how scary.

Lulu came home! And she's not even too mad at me for leaving her at the vet for so long.

And Mrs. Hilda is on her way home now! We were at her house late last night, with Nancy and the other girls cleaning and washing clothes and bedding. I know she can't wait to see Bellville!
