Christmas Countdown - 2015

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Not much to report today. We had customers in for the tour and lunch yesterday, so I didn't get much done. It sure was nice to see the sun shining yesterday, if only for a few hours.

It's supposed to be in the mid-80's tomorrow! Then a high in the 40's on Friday LOL.

Good afternoon. I decided to leave work early and head home, so that I don't get caught up in traffic/ bad weather that they have been calling for. I'm going to remote log in and work from home for the rest of the day in the comfort of my house.

On the way home, it started to snow, sleet and rain a little bit, so I think my timing was right on.....

I'm going to throw some leftover pizza in the oven to heat it up, eat lunch and get back to work.

I was thinking the same thing. It wasn't really what I was expecting at all.

That's a bummer, I know some other people were too.

But, I really liked it! I do love all Hallmark movies, especially the Christmas ones! So maybe I'm the wrong one to comment [emoji4]

I've always had a hard time with Hallmark movies, just to sugary sweet to me. cheesy I was so looking forward to Northpole last year, and just was disappointed because it was not what I was anticipating. I have tried watching more Hallmark movies to really get into the Christmas spirit, but still can't do it. I really enjoyed Pete's Christmas enough to buy the DVD though.

Ok now....This is more like it.... I like to see forecasts like this~

Looks like this coming winter storm on Thursday may really give us a little bit of a thumping (6+ inches) and then it's supposed to head on up the coast again....

Up the coast? As in towards MerryCarey and I again? O brother... cheesy

I just tried to walk outside, and forget about it, it's slicker than a greased pig.... Freezing rain again!!!

Got a lot of stuff done around the house today, made a turkey tenderloin for dinner and took JP to Scouts. It has been snowing again a few inches have landed and now it is sleeting or freezing rain out there, and the wind is whipping loudly.

LC has been dealing with a stomach bug all night, he has been up a number of times already tonight. One of us will be staying home with him tomorrow, just not sure who yet.

I did make a run to Goodwill, and found a Kurt Adler Santa's World Santa Claus, it is quite old and got it for a whopping $2. I am very happy with it even though it needs a little TLC.

Good evening everyone. Just wanted to pop in quick and say hello, I'm going to turn in soon. I had a super busy day and can barely keep my eyes open. My daughters doctor appointment went well. We scheduled a couple of more tests for next week. The doctor wants to take another look at her gallbladder and ordered an upper GI series test. The pain in her chest and back is getting better but she's still having difficulty eating. The doctor increased her medicine so hopefully she will continue to improve. I hope everyone had a nice day. We've been dealing with snow and freezing rain this evening. Thankfully the girls are all in for the night. Looks like we may get more snow tomorrow night in to Thursday. I hope everyone that's dealing with the wintry weather stays safe and keeps warm. Enjoy the rest of the evening. Goodnight everyone!

Glad to hear your daughters appointment went well and the doctor is investing on why she is still in pain and not feeling well. Sorry to hear that she is this way. [emoji17]

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't been able to come catch up. We have had a few busy weeks with events, Jude's 7th birthday and party, my father in laws 60th, etc. And what's keeping us most busy is a renovation we are doing in our playroom! Someone along the line added a large closet to our bedroom and took space from our second bedroom, making it small and useless. So we knocked that closet down and we put up drywall. Now I have to just sand it today and paint the ceiling and pant the walls tomorrow to prepare for our new carpet on Saturday!!! My husband will do the finishing touches then. We are very excited!
