Well,..... She was very nice! She's a cute little thing. Quite a bit different than what I expected, only because he's like 5-11 and she's like 5' and 95lbs.... And they are both the same age. One thing I did notice, is that he's all smiles around her...

I was happy to see that he's happy~

That is awesome!
Happy for him, and you guys too!

Glad everyone is feeling better today!!!!

The sonic's here didn't last because of their poor service. They say they are going to open 100 new ones over the next couple of years around town so we will see if they are any better this time.

Goodnight, Xmas!!!!

Glad your family is feeling better!
Hope their appetites return, soon.

That is a bummer about Sonic, but so frustrating too. Grrr.

Hope today flies by for you, and that you have a wonderful day off on Tuesday!

I figure out why they use the 2 guys in their commercials, it shows what happens when you wait too long for your food while sitting in your car. You go NUTS!!! cheesy

Good Morning, friends!
Hope you have a great start to your week~
Wishing you a blessed day!

I always think of the movie, "Son In Law" when I see big farms like that.

That movie is one of our "must watch" movies for Thanksgiving.

Good Morning all, well after sleeping a good solid 10 hours last night, I was up and abound early this morning. So, off to the office I went, figure I would get in early, while no one is here, get things done and then get out of here early! At least right now, that sounds good/ like a plan for the moment...

Don't plan on a lot today, just starting a new project, and with that, should be (hopefully should be), a low key day.....

I hope your day remained low key.

Your a good man for doing that; God Bless you! It sure is a huge difference, when you walk/ or have walked, in that other persons shoes at one time or another...

It makes me cringe when I hear or see someone else doing that to a waiter or waitress, sometimes, and a lot of times, it's not their fault. However, on the other hand, I have been to places, where the food was excellent, but the server was terrible. That just means to me, that instead of getting a usual 20-25% tip from me, they get a 10-15% tip, depending how bad the service was...

I could not stand it when adults would come up and rip into the kids who were doing register duty. They are kids, and they are learning. I was only 19-20 years old myself and I was in charge of running a store filled with 16-17 year old kids and seeing them being brought to tears by some jerk is something that has stuck to me all these years.
I did once really tick off a waitress once for her terrible service, I left her a $00.46 tip because she was the worst waitress I've ever had. That was a bigger slap in the face than leaving no tip.

Yep, I've seen that before too. There's no excuse for such horrible behavior. You can speak your mind politely, without being mean or belligerent.

I have to tell you this story, when my daughter was like 2ish age range, she was sitting in her booster chair at the kitchen table, eating "b-sketti" and, I don't know how she did it, but as she was swallowing some of them, she sneezed!!!! And there it was, a noodle partially hanging out of her nose, about a half an inch.....

I was beside myself...because every time my wife would try to get it with her fingernails, my daughter would breath in thru her nose, the noodle would go up and when she exhaled, the noodle would come down! This went on for several minutes between them two and in the mean time, There I was, rolling on the floor laughing and at the same time a little grossed out!!! Eventually, my wife was able to get ahold of it and pull it out, which totally grossed me out....because it was about 3-4" long... It looked like she was pulling a worm out of her nose; poor thing....

It still makes me laugh to this day.....

I hear you about going to Sonic. They messed up four drink orders Saturday at the drive-through. I could tell by the sound of the guy's voice on the speaker that he wouldn't get it right. Grrr.

The dreaded drive thru!

To this day I refuse to go through drive thrus, it drives my wife nuts. cheesy

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

Yesterday was an absolutely beautiful day! We went to my mom's for lunch (wonderful, as usual!), and I was walking around the backyard trying to decide if I was going fishing or shooting my 9mm, when the ground suddenly got squishy. There was a water leak somewhere underground.

The ground was saturated, so I couldn't easily locate the leak. I dug for almost three hours on a hole that wound up 6 ft. wide and 3 ft. deep, but I found it! I was barefoot with my jeans rolled up, and muddy from top to bottom, but I got a cap on it. Thank goodness my brother had a sump pump. That thing saved the day. I have to go back today with some couplings to re-connect everything, then fill the hole in.

So much for my lazy afternoon! LOL

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Glad you were able to locate the leak.

Good morning MMC!! Happy Monday! I'm jumping in to wish you all a good day before catching up on what I missed over the weekend! Hopefully I'll have a chance to catch up!

My hubby was home sick all weekend - and still home today! Flu! I'm trying to convince myself that I am not coming down with it! Wish me luck! I didn't go see Dad all weekend b/c I don't want to bring any icky's there!

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend, now on to a wonderful week!

Have a great day!

I hope your hubby is feeling better, and you avoid the flu.
