Good morning!
I have an appointment for a physical later this morning. I'm fasting for bloodwork and I'm getting cranky, lol. I'm hungry but I really, really want a cup of coffee right now. Wah!
I forgot to tell you guys that I decided to work through the summer. I increased my hours and I'll be working Monday through Friday. If I decide it's too much then I can cut back in September when the regular school year begins. I hope it works out.

Another nice day yesterday with just a touch of coolness.
Had a nice 24th birthday celebration for my older niece who will be starting an accounting job in
Charlotte late this summer. Will be sorry to see her leave but she has an excellent opportunity with
one of the top accounting firms in the country.

Today should continue to be nice with possible rain tonight or tomorrow.
We stand just over 48 degrees here at this hour.


Hope to see you at the 'Pines this evening to learn what our favorite camel has in store for us.
A little wild, possibly.
Maybe a bit crazy.
Even scary, perhaps.
But ALWAYS entertaining!

It's a gray day, with rain/mist and a breeze...but it's one day closer to Christmas!!:sparkle:

I did some work on my small business after work yesterday, then I went to my brother's shop. We developed a plan of attack to get the Camaro cranked in the next week. We're close!

Of course, I can't drive it yet. It doesn't have tires...or a windshield, or an interior...but that's coming! LOL

We got just under 4 inches of the heavy, wet stuff. Still freezing drizzle right now, and cold! Foggy and 28 degrees.

Lugosi as good guy?! That would take a bit getting used to.

I read that he was a nice man but battled substance abuse and mental health issues. I wish he could have gotten the help he needed for healing. His life was kind of sad.

He was a great actor!

Yes, he's actually warm and friendly in the serial (except to those who cross him, of course!). Watch "International House," and you'll see him play comedy. He's really more versatile that he gets credit for.

Gloria didn't know him well, even though she worked at Universal, but it was an open secret there that he was a drug addict.

I've heard that his son, Bela Lugosi, Jr., is a successful entertainment lawyer---and that he has his father's piercing eyes and they're an asset when he's questioning someone in court!

I'm at work waiting on a call from our tile guy...he wants me to come home to make sure I like the grout after he starts it. He said it's much easier to take out when it's wet, than after it's dry if we don't like the color! :lol: (no doubt!) We do have a back-up grout color there if we don't like the 1st one. EEK! Big decision!

It's getting really windy out & still spitting rain! Hopefully it improves soon!

I could have wore shorts and been just fine. The heat is turned down all the way to. They have already done her MRI this morning. Now we are just waiting on the doctor to come around and physical therapy. I'm sure they will keep her again tonight though. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!

Good morning early birds! I get to slow down this morning just a tad and not rush off to the office first thing this morning. On my way in to work in about an hour from now, I have to stop by a clients office and have a meeting with them at 7.
