Christmas Countdown - 2015

Good Afternoon, MMC!!! Well the day started off rather chilly but it has warmed up nicely. So I won't complain to much about having to scrape ice off of the car windows this morning. It's sunny and 63 right now. That's perfect if you ask me. If it could just stay like this all year long. I'd be happy. Mom's doctors appointment went okay this morning. Got refills on all of her meds called in and now we are just waiting on the pharmacy to call and say they are ready. Her blood test results should be back tomorrow. Hopefully the level is back in range again. It was low at the hospital last week. We also stopped by my sister's house. My niece cut off about 6 inches of her hair yesterday. I really like it though and it should be a lot less hassle now. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Happy Pinesday, too!

Ok, we're not as close to cranking the car as I thought. I spent 2 hours running new fuel lines form the tank to the pump, and installing the dipstick spouts for the transmission and oil. We need to wire up the starter to the battery, and install the electric fans on the radiator.

THEN we might be ready. LOL

Overcast here, with an expected high of 80°. They're talking about sunny and 85° tomorrow!

I had a super busy day yesterday. I logged on last night to read through the countdown posts and fell asleep before I could respond to any.
CS, keeping LittleCS in my prayers.
Made, I hope mom's appointment goes well.

Not too much going on here today. The dogs have a groomer appointment this morning. I have a couple of quick errands to run while they are there. Other than that I'll just be working on some chores around the house. Spring break has begun at the preschool, I don't go back to work until April 14th!

Beautiful weather was had here yesterday.
Our high was in the low 70's, there was no rain, only gentle breezes and plenty of sun.
(Oh! And no humidity to speak of either.)

Today has commenced at 52 degrees here in central NC.

A word of warning if you are going to the 'Pines tonight:
Carl is in his element.
I repeat.
CARL IS IN HIS ELEMENT.
This is his thing. This is what he lives for.
All I can say is - KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN the whole time you are there.
(Even the fired twinkies may hold surprises!)
But don't worry. Carl doesn't have a mean streak in his body and everything will be done in fun.
(Um........so far as I know.)

I am running out of charge both on the computer and myself. I was trying get caught up but tomorrows another day.

LC regressed last night, he was up most of the night so he stayed home again today, and now will be again tomorrow. I get a phone call from the school this morning saying JP had a fever of 101, so I had to pick him up. The bickering, the fighting, I did not have a relaxing day.

April will be here in a few.

It's been a decent day at my normal school. The students were mostly OK, and now I am enjoying the luxury of having the final period off. It's a beautifully sunny day in Canada's Capital. Temperatures are currently right around the freezing mark with minimal wind. It's also great to see that warmer temperatures are ahead for tomorrow and Friday. The only downfall is that there is also some mixed precipitation in the forecast, too. Hopefully it's much more rain than snow!

I hope you've all played a few pranks today. I haven't done much. I am not creative enough. A student of mine confessed a harmless prank he played on the administrative staff today at school. It was actually quite clever! He told me not to tell anyone. He wants to leave them in suspense. Since it was completely harmless, I will let him get away with it. He's a good kid.

Wednesday is usually a gym day for me. I was really looking forward to it, then I remembered that I have to help an old friend move. He's coming back from being out of town for the past three years. There are about three or four of us helping out, so it shouldn't take very long at all. We'll see how much energy I have afterwards.

I hope you all remembered to flip your calendars today. We've arrived at one of my favourite months of the year... I think, after this year, it will become my least favourite, since I will be turning a certain age... Oh well!
