Good evening,

A pretty lousy night at work.

I made it through the day, I am feeling better than I was this morning, but my belly still feels like it is doing backflips.

The morning will be here way too soon.

I watched my Bruins lose their game tonight, I am worried they may not make the playoffs this year. Only 2 more games to go and they are barely clinging to a seed.

We were talking to LC about his homework the other day and how important it is to do it and get good grades to help get a good job later on in life. We talked about how when he gets married and has kids that you will need that job to help pay for things.

His response was priceless:

"I am never getting married, because my wife would expect me to get a job."

He is so unintentionally funny, my wife says we should start a book of his "-isms"

Sorry to hear that the Bruins lost. The Islanders still have not clinched a playoff spot, seems like they're playing the worst possible hockey at the worst possible time!

I love that ornament! I have my eye on a couple of those vintage Shiny Brite ornaments on ebay, I really want one that says Merry Christmas. I just might treat myself to one!

going to be a very wet day here. Have to drive over to Kitchener to pick up new tires for my van and then to my brothers place to drop them off. I can hardly wait to get my van, it is taking much longer than expected, for now I get to use my nephews truck which is great, but I would really like my own wheels.

And indeed, we do but turn another page:
Days to the Season: 218
Days to Christmas Day: 260

And moving right along, we now find ourselves barely over 2 1/2 weeks away from the 200-day Season Window and under 2 1/2 weeks to the 1/3 Christmas Day Milestone, as our dual markers quickly approach.


Rain overnight yesterday (with a thunderstorm last night) but it was clear during the daylight hours (well, as clear as it can be with pollen everywhere) for the remainder of the day.
Today has started off at 59 degrees, with the promise of a (hopefully) drier day.


Have a Thrilling Thursday, as you contemplate the fact that tomorrow will once again be Weekend Eve!
