Good evening,



I have made it as far as I can, still have 9 more pages to get caught up on after knocking out 15 others.



Six Flags was fun, got there as it opened so we were able to get on quite a few rides with no lines.



We stopped at Hallmark on the way home hoping they would have ornaments at 90% off like last year, but nothing was there. Rats!!!



Tomorrow is JP's 10th birthday, I can't believe he is hitting double digits.



I must get some shuteye, this is going to be a rough week at work.

Well I was supposed to meet the territory manager for a floor company at one of the grocery stores here in town tonight at 10pm for an interview. I sat there for an hour and the guy never showed up. The lady at the customer service counter said he did the same thing last night and that no one has been in to do their floors for days. (Which you could clearly tell) If I was them, I would be finding another company.

So sorry to hear that buddy. Hope you find something soon. (((Hugs)))

Good Morning, Folks!

New weeks bring new hopes and dreams.
They also bring new count numbers.

Numbers such as these:
Days to the Season: 214
Days to Christmas Day: 256

And the alert among us will quickly determine that we are now EXACTLY two weeks away from 200-day Season Window.
Not only that, but we are now UNDER two weeks off from the 1/3 Christmas Day Milestone.
(Can you believe that in 2 short weeks we will be down into the 100's for our Season count? I can. But only because our chart says so. Wow!)


Another nice day yesterday, for my sister's birthday.
(My nieces and I treated her to dinner at an Italian restaurant nearby called "Mia Francesca". Tasty food and pleasant atmosphere.)
Today should be dry before a good chance of rain returns for Tuesday.
Currently, we record 54 degrees here in central North Carolina.

Good Morning, MMC!!! We are off to a beautiful start with a temp of 64 right now on our way to 70 degrees. Unfortunately it looks like some storms are going to be moving in later this morning. Boo!!! They are trying to cut the grass in my apartment complex before it starts though. So I had to close everything up because my allergies are already going crazy. Not to much on my agenda for today. Will just be calling my insurance and battling it out with them again about the doctor they assigned as my primary doctor. There are several here in town but they put me with one on the west side of Indy in one of the worst neighborhoods. I've called twice and submitted 3 requests online to change it but they still haven't done it. I might run to Wal-Mart too. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!

We just re-did a bedroom & closet & it's probably going to be $1,500. Paint, carpet, mattress & box spring, new bedding & window treatment, total closet redo. I'm glad it's finally done. We've made do with that room for 14 years & at last it's finished!



Well, Daddy spent yesterday afternoon at the ER & he has gout on top of all the other issues...; Mom said he might as well get a job at the hospital! His new gout meds can thin the blood & cause heart rate issues---just the things he dealt with last week. He has a doctor appt. on Wednesday and hopefully all will be well.



After a lunch on Saturday for SIL's upcoming marriage, we spent the rest of the weekend on the bedroom/closet redo mentioned above. It really looks good! Now we will concentrate on deep cleaning the rest of the house for the out-of-state family coming in for the wedding on Saturday.

Good afternoon MMC!! Monday again!!! They day must be going fast b/c I just realized I had not checked in here yet....and in 40 minutes it will be quitting time. Woo Hoo!! Bad news is it looks like rain will be moving in about the time I get off work...and I'm going patio furniture shopping. Guess I'll get wet! :-?



We had so much fun at my nephews wedding. Beautiful day, beautiful wedding! Lots of laughs! I have to share this picture, b/c it cracks me up. It's my Mom & my niece in the photo booth...

Just cracks me up every time I see it! Don't mess with my mama! :lol:



We got home from the wedding around 1:00 yesterday & pulled out chairs at the lake & soaked up some sun!! Our friends stopped in & joined us ~ Sunday Fundy! Back to the grind today!!

Say, xmastidings, did you put the Evil Eyetooth on me or something?? Today I have the same problem you had last week: a root canal from years ago that was improperly done has caused an infection. I'm now on antibiotics and Aleve and scheduled for a lovely new root canal next week. The only good news is that I seem to have caught it in a timely fashion, so the infection shouldn't get very far.

Oh MerryCarey! I'm so sorry to hear this. Glad to hear you caught the infection fast though. Hope you're not in to much pain. Thinking of you!

I'm off to a nice start to the end of my day.... I got to leave the office earlier because I had to drive into Baltimore City to attend a project review meeting with the city's Chief Fire Marshall. Then got out of the meeting earlier than expected, then cruised right on home with like hardly no traffic at all on the road (which is a surprise in all it's own right, because of the time of day and it's raining).

I get home, there's the blind that I had sent to California 3 weeks ago for repairs. I got that installed, got some pierogies on the stove, breaded porkchops in the broiler and then I will steam the veggies when everything else is done.... And it's not even 5pm yet!!!! YES, time for some MMC chatting.....
