Eight months until Christmas Eve? That just sounds amazing! I should have mentioned it in the Countdown. I think this calls for me being able to watch a Christmas movie tonight or tomorrow. What better way to celebrate?!

Good morning MMC! Happy Friday! YAY!!!



Busy - fun - not so fun - weekend ahead for us! My neighbor just texted saying she wants to have a Funday Friday today! She thinks we can do 59º & sunshine! cheesy Then I'll be heading to the lake! Tomorrow afternoon we have my Dads burial (ashes) & then there is mass for him at 5:00. After that we will be heading to my brothers to make homemade pizza's on the grill. I'm making a Frisch's Big Boy Pizza. Last night I browned the burger, sliced the pickles, & measured out the ingredients for it that I could do ahead of time. I also made a cheese ball I figured I can get that out at the lake &/or bring to my brothers. Now I guess I could get it out for Funday Friday too! Sunday we have our cousins wife's viewing. That is from 1-6, so hopefully we can get there right away at 1:00 & then have the rest of the afternoon to do something a little more fun. The weather is supposed to be yucky tomorrow - 100% chance of rain & a high of 49º! Good thing the burial shouldn't take long! Sunday is supposed to be pretty nice - kinda like today.

My mom is in the mountains this week, so I won't be having lunch with her. She's in Asheville shopping for clothes! I told her that she can't drive all the way up there to God's country only to go clothes shopping when she gets there, but does she listen to me? No! LOL

It's a beautiful, sunny 70's day here, but it's supposed to rain all day tomorrow.

DH's aunt passed away last night. There were too many complications after the surgery for her to recover. Pray for the family please. DD took it better than I thought she would. DH is holding it together for her but having a hard time. Our house will be the gathering place for visitors, so we'll be busy through the first of next week.

Whew! Glad to see you didn't forget to change out of your jammies before running errands! :lol: We use to bowl in a "bowling bash" (all women) & the theme 2 years was pajama party. The whole pajama theme thing was definitely fun. But I couldn't get inside of the school and then back in to my house fast enough, lol.
I spoke with my mom and she's doing alright. Her knees and hands are hurting though, I guess they took the brunt of the fall. She's lucky she got those hands out in time!
