Hope you are all having a great day.

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

It was a long weekend with heavy storms Saturday, and 90° temps on Sunday. I managed to have a good time, though, going to the movies with my wife & daughter Saturday, then working on the Camaro that afternoon. A local body shop owner & friend offered to help us get the Camaro body fixed up and primer-coated. Nice of him!

Sunday, Jacob's youth group at the 1st Methodist church did the entire service, and Jacob played guitar, so we went to that service. Usually, the folks at First Church are too fancy for my taste. I like our little country church. Plus, two old girlfriends and my ex-wife go to First Church, so it's a little uncomfortable, but we went for Jacob. It was a good service!

Then we had a family reunion with Bernie's side of Nancy's family. 100 people in an un-air-conditioned warehouse building in Bellville, in the 90° sun. Whew! it didn't last long LOL.

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Good morning, everyone!

Another weekend has ended, and we're already in the final days of April. Wow! Despite having a low-key Friday and Saturday night, I had a lot of fun yesterday celebrating my upcoming birthday with a close group of friends.

As for today, I am at Russell again teaching the intermediate students. The morning classes are already over - they went by fast! The students were pretty good (for Grade 7 and 8). This afternoon, I have Phys. Ed, History, and Art. I like how it is shaping up!

The weather today is actually pretty nice, too. We're finally out of a March-like funk and hitting decent temperatures. We are only to reach 14 today (mid 50s), but tomorrow we should be nearly hitting 20c (60s-70s). Wow! There also finally looks to be sun and relatively calm breezes in the forecast. I am looking forward to it!

Well, I think I only have about 20 minute minutes of lunch... then I am off to teach gym. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Have a great Monday, everyone!

********** MILESTONE DAY **********

Good Morning, Friends!
Rise, shine and........

<< Wait, wait. Hold on there Crown. What's with this "Milestone Day" business? That was yesterday. >>

Well, we have a big surprise for you, little voice. Today is a Milestone Day, too.
Yep. Back to back Milestones.
It only occurs once a year at this time!

<< Wow! >>

You said it.

Days to the Season: 200
Days to Christmas Day: 242

And, of course, the Milestone of the Day is the 200-day Season Window, as our march on Christmas intensifies.
(We will be in the ONE HUNDREDS tomorrow!!)

Damp and quite chilly here all day yesterday and I never saw the temps get out of the 50's.
Today should be warmer and drier, fortunately, and it has started off at 44 degrees in our neck of the MMC woods.

Have a Marvelous Monday, Everybody!

As I was finishing my earlier post, I realized that today was a Milestone Monday! I figured that I would just type a separate post commemorating this joyous occasion!

Wow, Crown! 200 days?! Such a wonderful milestone is really upon us! It will be great to see the days to the Christmas Season reach the 100s tomorrow!

That's not good, I hope tonight is much better.

Good morning MMC! Happy Monday! Hope you all had a nice weekend! Even though we had 2 funeral "events" going on this weekend, it was still a pretty nice weekend. Dads burial was quick & the priest did a nice job. The pizza's at my brothers (on the grill) were delicious! We had a good time hanging out at their house.

We went to the viewing for Jims cousins wife yesterday - that was a sad one. We went early & then sat outside on the patio with neighbors & grilled out! And here we are @ Monday again already!

Have a great day everyone - I'm going to try to do a little catching up!

:gift:

Keeping you in my prayers Holiday (((hugs)))
That pizza is making me hungry!

Happy Milestone Day, MMC!!!!! It looks like it's going to be a beautiful day here with a high of 60 degree's. I'm going to be stuck inside though pretty much all day though since I work 10 to 7. Today is my last day shift. I'll start overnights on Thursday. I don't know what they have in store for us today. Hopefully nothing to exhausting since I'm not feeling the greatest. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

Sounds pretty delicious!!! Have a great day HMG! Good luck to the Islanders tonight! xx

Thank you so much!
Hope you have a great day too!

We'll have to do a pizza & leinie's night!

Love this picture, how sweet!!!

Me too ... I lost a few hours of sleep feeling sick overnight, but I didn't want to stay out sick today because I've had a few sick days already this year. It might look like I was stacking the deck for them to call Mr. in. So I'm part of the sluggish "rats, it's Monday already" crowd.

Hope you feel better MerryCarey!

Good morning, HMG! Hope your day goes well! Good luck to your Islanders tonight!

Happy Milestone Day!
Hope you have a great day!

If you could, please send some prayers or good thoughts on Gloria's behalf. The pain from her back injury is much worse, and she had to make two emergency trips to the hospital because the pain was intolerable. The hospital says "no surgery"---probably because of her age---and I worry that this could become the start of a general decline. She's a tough old bird, though, so maybe prayers will help her to heal.

Keeping Gloria in my thoughts.

Good morning everyone. I hope you all have a great Monday!
