Good morning everyone!
Happy Friday!
I have an appointment this morning to have my hair cut and colored. Not my favorite thing to do but I'm going to try and relax while I'm there. Not too much else planned for today. I need to make a menu plan and grocery list for next week, maybe take a ride to the butcher and get that over with. I also need to run to Hallmark for a couple of cards. Other than that I'll be working on my daily chores. I hope everyone is well and has a great day!!!

Weekend Eve has arrived!

And, of course, so have today's count numbers:
Days to the Season: 168
Days to Christmas Day: 210

And yes, you see that right. TOMORROW, we will be SINGLE DIGITS away from the 200-day Christmas Day Window and the start of a double-100's count.
Wow!


Just a light sprinkle yesterday, and it was fairly humid although not hot.
Less chance of rain for today, where we have commenced the morning at 70 degrees here in the capital city of North Carolina.

Thank you snowflake! I did! Other than the fact that I couldn't get my in-laws new router figured out. Everything connects to it, but no webpages pull up & I get the "DNS server not responding" error! Grrr! I got all my "chores" done & then guess what? It was almost dark when I walked outside & our neighbors were sitting on their patio ~ they hollered at us to come over for a drink & guess what we had??? A Leinie! cheesy Summer Shandy! cheesy Great way to end the night!

Good Afternoon, MMC!!! Well it hasn't been as productive of a day as I hoped it would be. Mom isn't complaining of her head as much today but all she wants to do is sleep. She is still stumbling some too. It's hard to know what's all her just still getting over the TIA though and what could be the bleed getting worse. So I've just been doing stuff around the house and watching her for any other signs that may pop up. I hope everyone else has had a good day!!!!

Good afternoon everyone! Just popping in quick to say hello. I was busy after work running errands and catching up with my chores. I also decided to take a ride to the mall to get my fathers birthday gift. His birthday isn't until Monday but we're celebrating on Saturday. I hope he loves his gift. Well I'm almost finished with my cup of coffee so I better get started on dinner. This day is flying by for me. Hope everyone is having a great day so far!!!

Good evening, everyone!

Just stopping in for a quick hello! I had a busy day with the Grade 7 and 8s today. They can be loud, but they are usually enjoyable. Tomorrow is the final PA (Professional Activity) day of the year. As a substitute teacher, I have the day off - with no pay. There is a workshop happening at the board office, so I am going to that in hopes it will give me some decent information to move up on the list for next year. We'll see how it goes!

I did not get much of a chance to see how everyone was doing today. I apologize. I'm sure you all had fantastic days, however. Friday is on its way!
