Christmas Countdown - 2015

Oh man! That sounds frustrating!! And scary about the gypsy moths! Have you contacted the property management to let them know they are back? And do you know where the slugs are getting in? You may need to go to a hotel until it freezes outside! cheesy (just razzing ya)

Yes, I sent an e-mail & called.
I want it taken care of quickly this time.
Did you see the pic of the cocoon I posted a few weeks ago? So disturbing.

The slugs are either coming in the track of the patio doors, or underneath the carpet in that tiny gap between the carpet/patio doors. The thing is, the patio doors I'm talking about are in our bedroom...double EEK! I kid you not, I had nightmares all night.

I am actually coordinating the build of a Marriott that my company purchased! If it was further along, I'd move in! [emoji4]

I hadn't either!! EEK is right!!!

It started with seeing one slug, which I was hoping was a fluke!
And then 4 more in one night, 5 today....that I saw...

It's a never ending battle with the property management company. They never treated the gypsy moth caterpillars right to begin with, and I told him that they're just going to keep getting worse and coming back, and that is exactly what is happening.

It took forever, but they removed both cocoons before. But they never sprayed the entire area or cut off the branches that the cocoons had been on. You need to do that as a minimum, but they actually suggest removing entire shrubs or trees. Make by me nervous. Google gypsy moth invasion in PA (this year) Or the videos on YouTube with what happens when you actually touch the caterpillar. They cause hives, eat away your skin, can give respiratory problems. Scary stuff. And they are just gross!

We are now in a tornado watch until 11pm tonight, the school was having meetings for teachers and they sent everyone home because of the forecast, no fooling around here anymore.

I will check in later on, hoping it stays a watch and doesn't change to a warning.

We could get some severe storms where we are later in the afternoon and evening, but the threat is greater out where xmas365 is.

Just plowing through this week at work looking forward to next week, which will be a short week for me heading into the July Fourth weekend. Hooray! I'll be taking a couple days off to attend to appointments, get a couple things done, and just bum around the house watching Fourth of July-themed movies.

Good Morning, MMC!!!! Guess what? It's hot!!!! LOL!!! They say it's going to cool down into the lower 60's tonight though and that we are looking at below normal temps by the weekend!!! WooHoo!!!! Not a whole lot planned here today. Just need to get some things done around the apartment when I get home. Right now, I'm out running some errands. Mom is still pretty shaky today hopefully she will improve as the day goes on. If not, we may have to cancel her test for tomorrow morning. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

It seems that severe weather is the catchphrase for today. We are supposed to be getting some big thunderstorms in about a half hour. I'm actually looking forward to it, though. We could use the rain!

Still preparing for vacation, making sure all the automation around the house is working properly. I need to start a list so I don't forget something.

Hey, friends! Hope thing are going good. Been a few days since i checked in, but I've been playing Daddy with two. Whew! Busy busy!

Things are going great. At work, we are getting ready for the school year to start and it is going to be here before we know it. Although there is just still several weeks, there is a lot to do. Things are rough at work...there is a few issues I could use some prayers on if you don't mind.

Doc and I was talking earlier about Christmas shows coming on next week. I'm ready to watch some. We are going to look at the schedule later, so there will be a little Christmas at our house tonight! Yippee!


Computer friends- I have an iPhone 6 plus. Last year, I couldn't upload to the Blossoms thread and it was a real bummer. Is there a trick that I'm not doing?

I was up until after 5 a.m. before I heard from my brother ~ he had to work several hours over and that was why the delay. Only heavy rain out where he works and by where the relatives live south of here. Thank God! The tornado that went through near the store was an F2. It traveled over 11 miles and went down both roads that I take to the store.

Chores are waiting as is some work for the store so I will bid all of you a MERRY night!
