Christmas Countdown - 2015

I was thinking how pretty the pattern is on the glass. Lucky you to have seen some "in person"! You never know, someone might have them on eBay.

Never thought of that. I do have a set of Christmas glasses from her that I believe were from the 60's. The ones in the picture were, I believe the 1980's. I will have to find them and post pictures of them.
I haven't seen them since we moved here back in 2008.

I have a set of those glasses! We got them as a wedding gift almost 22 years ago.

My Gracie Girl is sick!!!! :sad: I got home from work yesterday & she hadn’t eaten her food, which is odd! Then last night she threw up outside…twice. I put her in the house & she ate her food & she was fine all night. She greeted every person that came over last night with her normal wheaten greetin! But when I got home for lunch today, I had 3 more piles to clean up! Poor girl! I called the vet & they said to take her food & drink away for 24 hours & if she’s till sick in the morning I have to call them again. At lunch she greeted me at the door, tail wagging & she had kisses for me, so she has some spunk, but ?? Poor girl! I hope she doesn’t have any more issues! xx

I hope she is feeling better, I will keep her in my thoughts.

Good evening,

Baseball season is over, JP's team lost 5-1. It was a quick moving game, and the pitching was excellent, just a couple of errors and the other team got a few more runs to pull away. I am proud of the boys, they played well this season. Next year it gets more competitive in the 5th & 6th grade bracket.

I get to enjoy this thing called Friday tomorrow, I am so looking forward to the weekend off.

I need to get some sleep, my eyelids are a bit heavy.

Good evening,



Baseball season is over, JP's team lost 5-1. It was a quick moving game, and the pitching was excellent, just a couple of errors and the other team got a few more runs to pull away. I am proud of the boys, they played well this season. Next year it gets more competitive in the 5th & 6th grade bracket.



I get to enjoy this thing called Friday tomorrow, I am so looking forward to the weekend off.



I need to get some sleep, my eyelids are a bit heavy.

(Wow, that first half sure went by fast.
And you just know the second half will pass even faster!)


Plenty of rain late yesterday after another warm afternoon.
Quite damp now with still hot temps predicted for today, then a respite of sorts for the weekend.
Currently we see 78.6 degrees on our digital back door thermometer here in the capital city.
