Thanks Snowflake. Maggie was a nervous wreck when I took her out to potty too. In fact she didn't even go the last time I brought her out last night, she heard fireworks and couldn't get back inside the house fast enough. Then she apparently woke up in the middle of the night but I was so tired I didn't notice. My husband took her off the bed and just put her on the floor instead of taking her out. The poor thing ended up having an accident in the house. My husband got in a lot of trouble this morning, I'm sure he'll never do that again! I hope Harlowe was alright and you both had a good night!

We were alright with two fans & a TV, I froze but that's ok. I can just grab another blanket. I think they stopped after midnight.

I am getting some work around the house done and then after lunch picking up mom and heading out to camp David for the rest of the day.
I have a fresh fruit salad made, the pork chops are marinating for the grill...well will be as soon as I get off here and do it.

For now, let's take a peek at today's numbers, just arrived by express delivery:
Days to the Season: 132
Days to Christmas Day: 174
And yep. A quick check of our Countdown chart confirms we are just 10 days off from the 2/3 Christmas Season Milestone, July 14!
The worst Summer has to offer is still holding off. We had some more rain yesterday and with the cloud cover for most of the day, the temps stayed moderate.
Today is supposed to be clear, so we will see what that does to our temps.
Currently, we are at 73 relatively damp degrees here.
